Subject: Pragmatism is of the World |
Bible Note: I'm thinking I can feel free to jump in and respond so here goes. I think your statement shows a lot of wisom. In the final analysis, about as final as you can get on Judgment Day, God is going to be looking to see how we lived our lives. So from a practical standpoint, although DocT's point may be right on target and God IS in fact King of the whole universe, whether or not we make it into Heaven depends on how we lived our lives. Our two choices as freely given by God is to act like He is in fact King of our lives and submit to His commands, guidance and examples in His Holy Word OR we can choose to act in any other way we choose, unruly or unGodly which gets us a one-way ticket to Hell. It seems God's Word is very clear on this matter, is it not? Awaiting your response or possibly DocT's, Hank's?? Blessings to you all. Country Girl PS: By the way, I'm thinking Pragmatism is basically an interesting way to talk about being practical. That is the actual action being accomplished and associated steps to get there in contrast to the theory or merely discussing such an action. In other words: "where the rubber meets the road." |
