Subject: Which branch of Islam? |
Bible Note: Greetings Isa! I belong to a small denomination called United Brethren in Christ. You probably have never heard of them, but we are related to the United Methodist. I am an ordained pastor with this denomination. I trusted Christ for my salvation when I was six years old. Thus, I have been a Christian now for about 30 years. There are a lot of areas where you and I could agree. But, this is one area where I hope you will learn from Christ. In Islam, you have to earn salvation. In Christianity, it is a free gift. I don't have to do anything, since Christ paid for my sins on the cross about 2,000 years ago. So, 30 years ago, when I placed my faith in Christ, I was saved. 30 years later, I am still saved. When I die, I will go to be with Christ, because He saved me. Can you say the same my friend? Do you know at every moment of every day that you will be in heaven? I will be praying that you find that assurance my friend! In Christ, Tim Moran |
