Bible Question:
The postexile books of the Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Haggai, Zecharaih and Malachi were written in Hebrew ... as well as the law of God. Why did the Israelites needed the law of God translated? Steve |
Bible Answer: This could mean that they were translating from Hebrew to Aramaic. It is interesting that it says, "to give the sense so that they understood the reading".. Is this not the very aim and goal of today's Bible translators? |
