Bible Question: I was told that it is against God's will to marry with someone of another nationality. But wasn't shwn where in scripture. Can someone refer me to the scripture verses that speaks about that. |
Bible Answer: Ezra 10:10-11 (ESV) And Ezra the priest stood up and said to them, "You have broken faith and married foreign women, and so increased the guilt of Israel. Now then make confession to the LORD, the God of your fathers and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign wives." In Ezra 10:10-11 "God actually commanded the Jews to [divorce] by separating from these idolatrous wives. ... Though God hates divorce, there are times when it is the lesser of the evils and would prevent a future and even greater spiritual catastrophe." (MacArthur Study Bible, Word Publishing, 1997) |
