Bible Question: I was told that it is against God's will to marry with someone of another nationality. But wasn't shwn where in scripture. Can someone refer me to the scripture verses that speaks about that. |
Bible Answer: Paulie There is no such prohibition. There is no prohibition against races external to religion. The prohibition referrenced is Ezra is against marrying a different religion. It has nothing to do with race or ethic groupings but was based on the fact Jews were yoking themselves to pagans. 2 Cor. 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? This verse again is talking about a Christian yoking themselve to a non Christian either through marriage, business, partnership or any other binding agreement. EdB |
