Subject: What happens immediatly after you die? |
Bible Note: Hello Edwin, It looks like you and the Apostle John are way out of tune and I kind of think he might be right. Rev. 6:9-11 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: [10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? [11] And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. One of you two must be off due to the action going on in verse 10. I believe John might have a little more insight on the location of believers that have passed out of the physical realm. I would also think that Abraham was excited to see the first advent of Christ even though by your logic he was not aware of what was going on. John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Those enjoying Abraham’s presence in a class of those in captivity were joyfully bring transported to new residence soon after Christ arrived. When the pure atonement was finally accomplished in Christ; there sins were no not just covered but “removed”. Thus making them fit for heavens habitation. Ephes. 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Ephes. 4:9-11 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? [10] He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) [11] And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; CDBJ |
