Subject: Christians living together outside of ma |
Bible Note: Put God First, I pray that you consider this decision carefully. When my husband and I were married my mother-in-law chose not to attend our wedding because we planned to move out of state after the wedding. This created a wedge of pain and resentment between my husband and his mother. Even now, 8 years later, their relationship is still strained because of her decision. I agree whole hearted that the church should take a stand against sin, and not sit by without saying anything. I think the thing you may want to pray about is how is the best way to show your son and his bride to be that they are living outside of the Will of God. What will boycotting their day accomplish? Read Matthew 9:10-12. Jesus did not turn away from sinners, instead He taught them the why they were sinning by spending time and fellowshiping with them. I will keep your family in my prayers. Kay |
