Bible Question:
A friend says she believes in spirits, but she does not believe in the Holy Spitit, because she feels the Bible is "bunk". Her main reason is that no way, in her mind can people of different skin colors come from the same set of parents, a la Adam and Eve. "Nor does" in her words does the Bible ever try to explain this. Please help me send the right message to this angry young lady, I promised I would try to find the answer. I Thank you, and so will "Nicole" Faithfully, Tim |
Bible Answer: The reference to christiananswers.net seemed like a good one. I checked it myself and also noted they have more in depth resources: http://christiananswers.net/catalog/roots-vs.html http://christiananswers.net/catalog/bk-oneblood.html Without sounding like a sales person, you could refer your friend to the web site, and those other resources for further information on the subject. If your friend is truly open to God's work, she will most likely continue her research on the issue. I wouldn't write off the issue entirely. Sometimes God uses various 'side-issues' to open a door with people. But, it will eventually boil down to the gospel message and what your friend really wants to do. |
