Bible Question:
A friend says she believes in spirits, but she does not believe in the Holy Spitit, because she feels the Bible is "bunk". Her main reason is that no way, in her mind can people of different skin colors come from the same set of parents, a la Adam and Eve. "Nor does" in her words does the Bible ever try to explain this. Please help me send the right message to this angry young lady, I promised I would try to find the answer. I Thank you, and so will "Nicole" Faithfully, Tim |
Bible Answer: Good Morning Tim Here is a scripture: And He made from one [common origin, one source, one blood] all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined [their] allotted periods of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation (their settlements, lands, and abodes), Acts 17:26 But if your friend thinks the bible is 'bunk', I'm not sure giving her scriptures from the bible will help her receive the truth. Acts 16:14, tells us of Lydia 'whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul' KJV. While Lydia was already a worshipper of God and your friend isn't(I'm assuming here :)! ), maybe you could pray that God would open her heart as He opened Lydia's. Abba Father Bless... |
