Bible Question:
Hi, John 14:14 You may ask me for anything in "my name" and I will do it. This promise is conditional i.e."in my name". If the request is made not in His name, the request will render itself null and void- of no effect.Jesus is known by several names, which name is He referring to? Your comments, please. Fytrobert |
Bible Answer: Fytrobert, Good question..... Jesus is not requiring a specfic name but rather "a specific acknowledgement." In order to have reseptive prayers basically, there are two requirments. One, what John 14:14 is seeking is "do you believe Jesus is the Son of God, the One and only?" And the One and only direct link to God the Father? Two, "Whatever we ask must be according to His will and purpose, not necessarily ours." Question answered? InGodITrust |
