| Bible Question: thanks for both replies but both explainations rely on the Jewish tradition, which I have heard before...the Jewish Encyclopedia is a tradition of man...God clearly discripes what a night and day is in Genesis 1. My Jewish Believer guide in Isreal said that Jesus was crucified on a Wed..based on the Passover and Feast of unleven bread...requiring 2 sabbaths in resurrection week...a high sabbath(see levitics) and regular sabbath...does anybody know anything about the feasts?...apparently they were celebrated on the 14th and 15th of nissan every year... this makes more sense to me...If anyone has any insight on this could they fill me...most likely will not affect my salvation but this is something that has bothered me since I was a child. |
