Bible Question: Hi I seem to remember a passage in the Bible (was it old testament?) that tells about an oil...I think it was used for anointing maybe, but it was made everlasting or replenishing by GOD. The oil did not run out...long after it should have, perhaps it was used for some other purpose, like cooking. I dont think I am remembering correctly. Does anyone know the passage I am thinking of? |
Bible Answer: Shalom Virtue, Are you thinking of Elijah and the widow who had just enough flour and oil for her and her son to eat one more time? Elijah told her to fix him some bread and to fix bread for herself and son and the oil and flour remained plentiful till the Lord sent rain. You can find this story in 1 Kings 17. Cheri |
