Bible Question (short): Why punish the man of God? |
Question (full): Read chapter 13 of Kings. Why was the man of God kill. He did disobey God's command, but the prophet told him he had heard from God, and it was ok for him (the man of God) to eat. Was it unfair for the man of God to be killed by a lion for being tricked into believing it was God's will for him to eat and thus eating? And why wasn't the 'prophet' punished for lying. |
