Bible Question: I just read in Genesis 9:5 that God will demand an accounting from each animal as well as each man. How can animals be held accountable and does this mean animals have have a soul? Chusarcik |
Bible Answer: "I will punish any animal or person that takes a human life. If an animal kills someone, that animal must die." Genesis 9:5-6 :: Contemporary English Version (CEV) 5-6 I created humans to be like me, and I will punish any animal or person that takes a human life. If an animal kills someone, that animal must die. And if a person takes the life of another, that person must be put to death. Genesis 9:5-6 :: New Living Translation (NLT) 5 And murder is forbidden. Animals that kill people must die, and any person who murders must be killed. |
