Subject: Why was Judah the chosen tribe? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, Doc, I never mentioned Judah was chosen based on his being more deserving than the others ... I pointed out "Judah could have also been DQed": -He is the one who suggested to sell Joesph (Gen 37:26ff). -He had relationship with Tamar, his daughter-in-law (Gen 38:14ff). If it was by merit, Joesph would have been choosen, including his view of his brother's actions (Gen 50:20) ... again, Judah being the leader. If you read that I thought Judah was chosen by merit, point it out ... I don't want to miscommmunicate. Searcher |
