Personal profile for user screen name: thetowns

First of all, I feel overwhelmed and underskilled to even provide a profile here. Jesus saved me 3 years ago, and my life has been slowly progressing further towards him since then. As many do, I expected some sort of cosmic explosion or heart-wrenching experience, but got none of that. It took a while to realize that (for me at least), becoming Christ-centered was going to take some time.
My 'real job' is as a project manager for a manufacturing company. I implement manufacturing software, and oversee a group of others who do the same.
My passion is in gaining wisdom and understanding. In the past 3 years, I've read the bible from Genesis to Revelation 3 times, and also hop around a little to try and pick up specific help. I also love reading other christ-based books, both fact and fiction. I travel a lot with my work, so I have plenty of time on airplanes to read!
I've been married 7 years to the woman that is mostly responsible (other than God, of course) for my newfound faith. We have 3 children - ages 6, 3, and 9 months.
I would love to learn more from the entire group; I've looked at many of the profiles and am humbled at the years of experience and leadership. I read the KJV, NIV, and NLT versions; I think the NLT is a great book to get saved on...it worked for me!
