Bible Question: did God intend for humans to eat from the tree of knowledge and tree of life? |
Bible Answer: Dear Cherrie, God did not intend for Adam and Eve to eat from the tree. But He, being omniscient (all-knowing) knew that they would. He offered His creation a choice - the Tree of Life or the Tree of the Knowdege of Good and Evil. They chose 'poorly.' Thankfully, God offers us salvation to transfer us from being 'in Adam' to being 'in Christ.' Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We can, in a way, chose to come to the Tree of Life and live forever! In Christ, Bill Mc |
