Bible Note: I have a friend who believes there was not really an actual fruit or a talking snake, that this story is just figurative, the tree of life represents Jesus and tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents Satan. I believe Genesis is a straightforward acct of what happened. She also believes that the sin was actually Eve having sex w/Satan and Cain is their son, not Adam's, but Cain and Able were twins by different fathers, she spouts off all these scriptures to prove her point. I think she's way off. What do you think? |
