Bible Note: Hello CDBJ, Yes, navigating through the forum is very tricky. I didn't realize the post was that old. Thanks for the helping me out. Luke 16:22 - 31 is the intended scripture reference. In this series of verses the senses are demonstrated by rich man's desires: 1) the rich man wanted to dip his finger in water (touch) 2) the rich man wanted the water to cool his tongue (taste) 3) the rich man was tormented in flames (touch) 4) the rich man lifted up his eyes in hell (sight) 5) the rich man seeth Abraham a far off (sight) 6) the rich man and the Lord are having dialogue (hear) It would appear to me that if all of the other senses are operating then the sense of smell would too.
