Bible Question:
Did God create Life? If so where in the bible can I find this? I have asked this question many times but never get an answer |
Bible Answer: I believe that there are things that are not revealed in the Bible but we are to seek what is the "idea" being conveyed. I believe that "life" is one of these. Did God create the thing called "life" - scripture does not say - it just says God breathed "life" into man. Just like "in the beginning", - many believe this means that God created everything. Does this include the "darkness" in verse 2? We see later that God created light and divided light from darkness but never states God created darkness. To me, the "idea" that is being conveyed is "God created" not John Doe or an Angel or Satan or me. "God breathed the breath of life" - means, to me, that without the "breath of life" from God, we would be like animals - not complete - without a mind, a heart, a soul, morals, character, etc. Still seeking and learning...... |
