81 | Do tongues relate to worship in context? | John 4:23 | prazn | 122526
May I suggest to you that the only worthwhile objective of a "sincere student of the Bible" is to get to know the Author better, day by day. Our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ is not about ritual or scholarship; it is about relationship. Oftentimes, we cover-up our lack of relationship with the Lord by exalting our selves through religiosity and other intellectual pursuits cloaked under the deceptive garb of pseudo-spirituality. I pray, Hank, that you are not one of those who have never had an intimate encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. You sound really smart (I'm impressed), but the Lord has said through His servant Paul, "Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." - 1 Cor 3:18-19 respectfully (a fool for Christ), prazn |

82 | Do tongues relate to worship in context? | John 4:23 | prazn | 122552
Thank you for the message, brother! I don't recall personally attacking any specific individual in my posts. What I object to is religious spirits that know the "letter of the law" but avoid the weightier matters (i.e., the "Spirit" behind the Word of God). In other words, there are lots of folks out there who have "head" knowledge of our Lord, but no "heart" knowledge. They can quote Scriptures 'til they're "blue in the face" but they wouldn't know the Lord Jesus if He walked up to them today! I asked Hank if he loves and adores our Lord and if he worships Him. But, I never said, or meant to imply, that he doesn't have a relationship with Him. Speaking in tongues, or not speaking in tongues, is not an issue worthy of protracted debate, to me. How one chooses to worship the Lord, is not worthy of lengthy debate, to me. All that is important, to me, is that the Lord be glorified by those who sincerely desire to magnify Him and not their own intellectual prowess (please note: I haven't named any specific individual): Please allow me to leave you with the following Scripture. The bracketed words are my own translation (i.e., sorry, Bible scholars... my translations are not the greek derivatives of the words translated): Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions. One person has faith that he may eat all things [silently adore, shout to the Lord, dance, stomp, speak in tongues wildly, and/or shake tambourines], but he who is weak eats vegetables only [silently adores]. The one who eats [silently adores, shouts to the Lord, dances, stomps, speaks in tongues wildly, and/or shakes tambourines] is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat [shout, dance, stomp, speak in tongues and/or shake tambourines], and the one who does not eat [silently adores] is not to judge the one who eats [silently adores, shouts to the Lord, dances, stomps, speaks in tongues wildly, and/or shakes tambourines], for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God. For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. For it is written, "AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD." So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this--not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother's way. I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to him who thinks anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. For if because of food your brother is hurt, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy with your food him for whom Christ died. Therefore do not let what is for you a good thing be spoken of as evil; for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who in this way serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are clean, but they are evil for the man who eats and gives offense. It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles. The faith which you have, have as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin. - Romans 14:1-23 Comprende?!? blessings, prazn |

84 | Do tongues relate to worship in context? | John 4:23 | prazn | 122587
brother Tim, Just as there were pharisees and scribes when Jesus walked on the earth, there are pharisees and scribes today. "Those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof." - 2 Timothy 3:5 1 John 4:1 says to "test the spirit". I believe that I said that the issue of whether to speak in tongues, or not, is not worthy of PROTRACTED debate; particularly when neither side is willing to give up what they believe to be true about the matter. To prolong a debate without resolution can only lead to more animosity and divisiveness. Better to agree to disagree. peace, prazn |

By the way, brother, no matter how many Lexicons, dictionaries, concordances or commentaries that a Bible scholar has, it is impossible for him, or her, to truly understand the Truth of Scripture without a vibrant relationship with the Author. Witness the error of the religious scholars who harassed our Lord when He walked on this planet. Also, I am reminded that the majority of the men that Jesus chose to be His apostles were unlearned men. blessings, prazn |

86 | Biblically Based Questions/Notes | John 7:18 | prazn | 86113
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it would be most helpful if you would cite scripture when responding to questions in this forum. Many of us are diligent to search out and quote the scriptures that will help others to know the Truth. Of course, the adversary will do anything and everything he can to delude us with doctrines that are contrary to the Word of God. His tactic is to promote divisiveness and disunity among the faithful. Please don't allow this to continue! |

Hi EdB, I agree with you about the realities of "proof texting". This is why it is so important, that every believer read/study the scriptures for himself, or herself, and not simply accept the "opinions" of those who profess to be wise or the revelations of those who are "babes" in Christ. 1 Cor 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. 1 Cor 3:2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, 1 Cor 3:3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? God bless you! prazn |

88 | What kind of "fruit" is this? | John 10:27 | prazn | 87547
Children of the Living God have an assurance from our Lord that no one can take us away from Him: John 10:27-30: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one." If you hear Jesus' voice, you are one with Him. And, if you are one with Jesus, you are one with the Father: John 15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. John 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:8 "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples." What kind of "fruit" has been exhibited in this forum in recent days? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control? prazn |

89 | spiritual revelation to un- regenerate? | John 10:28 | prazn | 87237
Please don't under-estimate the power of the Living God, my friend. Guaranteed, once we are His, we are always His no matter how far we stray. For He declares in His Word that if He has begun a "good work" in us, He "will be faithful to complete it, until the day of Chist Jesus." -Phil 1:6 It is unfortunate, but many who do stray are brought back through tragedy or some other life altering circumstance, but our Lord does "chasten those He loves": Heb 12:5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, "MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM; Heb 12:6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES." Heb 12:7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? Heb 12:8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Heb 12:9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? Heb 12:10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. Heb 12:11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. To answer your question, the unregenerated spirit cannot receive "revelation" from the Holy Spirit. The Lord tells us in 1 Cor 2:14, "...a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised." 90 | Can christian people live righteous life | John 14:15 | prazn | 108907
No one can live a "righteous" (as you call it) life apart from the grace of God and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ (i.e., belief that Jesus died to save us from the wrath of God because we are sinful beings, by nature). "Righteousness" is the believers position, before God, in Christ; we are declared "righteous" by God because we have believed in His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ the righteous One): Rom 3:19-26 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Rom 4:2-8 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? "ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, just as David also speaks of the blessing on the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: "BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED. "BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT." We keep the Lord's commandments because He has written them in our hearts and the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins, affording us the opportunity to confess and repent: Heb 8:10 "...I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MINDS, AND I WILL WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS. AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. John 16:8 "And He [the Holy Spirit], when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment;..." 1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. |

91 | The Ultimate Bible Resource | John 16:13 | prazn | 86049
Bible commentaries and study notes are good, but we must know the Word of God for ourselves. 2 Thess 2:1-12, warns us that many will be deceived in this final day because they have not known the Truth for themselves. It is not enough to rely upon the opinions of, or revelations provided to, other believers. The absolute authority on the meaning of the Bible is the Holy Spirit who is within you, if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ: John 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:14 "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:15 "All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you." 1 Cor 2:10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 1 Cor 2:11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 1 Cor 2:13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by HUMAN WISDOM, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 92 | Help explaining John 16:19-33 | John 16:19 | prazn | 86213
John 16:19 Jesus knew that they wished to question Him, and He said to them, "Are you deliberating together about this, that I said, 'A little while, and you will not see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me'? John 16:20 "Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy. I believe that the Lord was speaking here of His imminent crucifixion (the reason that the apostles would grieve) and His resurrection (the reason that the apostles would rejoice). John 16:21 "Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world. I believe that our Lord was speaking here about His own anguish at having to go to the cross. You'll recall His prayer to the Father in the garden of Gethsemane: Matt 26:39 And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will." Also Luke 22:44 records that our Lord was in such anguish that He sweated drops of blood, which dripped to the ground. However, as recorded in Hebrews 12:2, Jesus, like a woman in childbirth, "for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." John 16:22 "Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. John 16:23 "In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. John 16:24 "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. John 16:25 "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father. I believe that our Lord is speaking here of His Holy Spirit, which came into the world after His ascension into heaven. 1 Cor 2:10 For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. John 16:26 "In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; John 16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. John 16:28 "I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father." John 16:29 His disciples *said, "Lo, now You are speaking plainly and are not using a figure of speech. John 16:30 "Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for anyone to question You; by this we believe that You came from God." John 16:31 Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe? John 16:32 "Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." Our Lord has told us that, in this world, we will face tribulation, but we re to exult (rejoice) in our tribulations "... knowing that tribulation brings about perrseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5 I didn't comment on every verse, assuming them to be self-explanatory. However, if the Lord has not revealed the meaning of these verses to you, I will share what He has revealed to me and/or other believers. God bless! |

93 | What did Thomas do | John 20:25 | prazn | 86327
Ever heard the term "doubting Thomas"? Thomas was one of the original 12 disciples. He continually doubted or was pessimistic about events as they unfolded in Jesus' ministry. For example, when Jesus learned that his friend Lazarus had died (or "fallen asleep") he suggested to the disciples that they return to Judea. Thomas was the only one of the twelve who expressed doubts that Jesus would escape death if He went to Judea. Thomas also expected that he and and the others would die, if they went with Jesus: John 11:7 Then after this He *said to the disciples, "Let us go to Judea again." John 11:8 The disciples *said to Him, "Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?" John 11:11 This He said, and after that He *said to them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep." John 11:12 The disciples then said to Him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover." John 11:13 Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He was speaking of literal sleep. John 11:14 So Jesus then said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead, John 11:15 and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe; but let us go to him." John 11:16 Therefore Thomas, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, "Let us also go, so that we may die with Him." Most notably, Thomas doubted that Jesus had been resurrected, even after the others told him that they had seen Him themselves: John 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. John 20:25 So the other disciples were saying to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." If you want to know more about Thomas, I encourage you to do a word search on "Thomas", on this website. God bless you! |

94 | How to Grow spiritually | Acts 2:38 | prazn | 121964
We also grow spiritually by praying to the Lord for understanding as we read/study His word and in all of our relationships with fellow believers, as well as the unsaved. The Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Truth) leads us into ALL truth. It is the Holy Spirit that illuminates God's word for us and helps us to know the Lord better and to know who we are in Him. The Holy Spirit convicts of us sin; granting us the opportunity to confess that sin and to receive the Lord's forgiveness, cleansing and restoration. peace! prazn |

95 | Active Homosexuals: Truly Christian? | Rom 1:21 | prazn | 87094
Hi Hank, Can a liar be a follower of Christ (consider the apostle Peter)? Can a thief be a follower of Christ (consider the thief on the cross)? What about a murderer (consider the apostle Paul)? Sin is man's choice to be lord or ruler over his/her life (god), rather than allowing the Creator of the universe (God) to be his/her Lord. Consider the "original" sin. Adam and Eve did not lie, steal or murder anyone. What they did was to choose to be their own gods and, consequently, to reject the One true God. Sinful acts are symptoms of the disease (i.e., sin). Our Lord died on the cross so that ANYONE who believes, confesses and repents, will not perish, but have everlasting life. Once we have believed, may we continue to willfully sin? Absolutely not! (see Hebrews 10:26-39) Do we continue to sin, even after we have believed? Many believers do, because we have not yet been made perfect. The Lord is constantly perfecting us through the various trials that we must endure, and overcome, in this life. Thankfully, the Lord promises us that when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. It's good to know, as Paul wrote in Phil 1:6, "...I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Blessings! |

96 | Faithful response to gays / lesbians? | Rom 1:21 | prazn | 87126
How does the church minister to ANY sinner? By encouraging them to develop a personal and intimate relationship with our Lord and Saviour. By sharing the love of Jesus with them. By discipling them. By praying with them and for them during times of trial/temptation. By holding them accountable for their actions, if they are contrary to the Word of God. By encouraging them in their walk with the Lord.
97 | Active Homosexuals: Truly Christian? | Rom 1:21 | prazn | 87231
No. I've never said, or knowingly implied, that any human can achieve sinless perfection, as Christ (the God-Man) did. I believe that a person can commit a sinful act, out of ignorance. For example, God says in Mal 3:8, "Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, 'How have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings." I know of many Christians who do not tithe. Not because they haven't read the scriptures which encourage us to tithe, but because the Spirit of the Living God has not yet dealt with them about that act of faith, for whatever reason. Tithes and offerings are necessary for the Kingdom of God to be advanced upon this earth. But, more importantly than that, tithing is a gesture of faith in our Lord, which will be rewarded with a demonstration of His power to "pour out...blessing[s] [that] we won't have room enough to receive". And, yes, I know that this is Old Testament, but our God doesn't change. Believers are not exempted from His laws and commandments, as stated in the Old Testament. Hope this answers your question. |

98 | Active Homosexuals: Truly Christian? | Rom 1:21 | prazn | 87233
When the Lord returns for His Bride (i.e., the Church), then believers will be perfected in Him. 1 Cor 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 1 Cor 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Cor 15:53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Cor 15:54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 1 Cor 15:55 "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" 1 Cor 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 1 Cor 15:57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. |

99 | Active Homosexuals: Truly Christian? | Rom 1:21 | prazn | 87414
In Mark 12:42 our Lord observed a poor widow deposit two (2) copper coins into the treasury of the synagogue. Why was Jesus so concerned about the money that was deposited into the treasury of the synagogue? He certainly didn't take heed to the payment of government taxes (see Mark 12:17), except to tell us to pay them. Perhaps, a better example of a sinful action that is committed out of ignorance is gossip. Most Christians don't believe that they are behaving in a sinful manner when they gossip, however, our Lord tells us what things constitute "evil" (i.e., sinfulness), in Mark 7:20-22: Mark 7:20 And He was saying, "That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. Mark 7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, Mark 7:22 deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. Mark 7:23 "All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man." My point is, "sin" is a heart-condition, NOT an action. Sinful actions results when we worship "self" more than we worship "God". Since I haven't met a perfect believer, yet, that leads me to conclude that there are a lot of folks out there who are either willfully disobedient or simply ignorant of what sin really is. Blessings! |

100 | Christians living in unbroken carnality? | Rom 8:7 | prazn | 86995
Hi Radioman2, Scripture clearly states that the carnal mind is hostile to God. The following scriptures discuss the ramifications of living according to the dictates of the flesh, as opposed to the spirit: Heb 10:26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. Heb 10:28 Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Heb 10:29 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY." And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE." Heb 10:31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb 10:32 But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings, Heb 10:33 partly by being made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers with those who were so treated. Heb 10:34 For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and a lasting one. Heb 10:35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. Heb 10:36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. Heb 10:37 FOR YET IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. Heb 10:38 BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM.
