84 | What is the meaqning of 'sealing?' | John 6:27 | Thomas8 | 208306

85 | What changed? | John 7:8 | Thomas8 | 202931
Joh 7:6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Joh 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. Joh 7:9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. Joh 7:10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. (v6) my time is not yet come (v8) I go not up yet ... FOR ... My time is not yet full come But then (v10) Jesus does go up... So, does that mean His time had come between v. 6 and v 10??? |

88 | What changed? | John 8:30 | Thomas8 | 204688
Hi Tim, The reason I ask is that it looks like the 'they' of v 33 refers to those believers in v 30-32. It looks, to me, like the English means... Jesus said 'the truth shall make you free' and they answered 'we are not in bondage'. Do you see why I'm having the problem? |

90 | 'Now' refers to ... ? | John 12:31 | Thomas8 | 205245
'Now' as in immediately? 'Cast out' from heaven as in Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev 12:9 KJVR) ? I did read the few previous comments but would like something that was clearer. |

91 | any difference between Jesus and Christ? | John 20:31 | Thomas8 | 203624

92 | In One Place | Acts 2:1 | Thomas8 | 107704
Acts 2:1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. (1Co 11:20 KJVA) When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. (1Co 14:23 KJVA) If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? Is there an emphasis on being together in one place? How would that apply today? |

93 | why is Acts 2:44 not practiced today | Acts 2:44 | Thomas8 | 107705
Corinth shows... (1Co 3:3 KJVA) For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? Wouldn't the following apply to denominations... (1Co 3:4 KJVA) For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? How many churches do we pass going to church? How many people join monastries? How many people have gone, sold what they have and given it to the poor? |

94 | why is Acts 2:44 not practiced today | Acts 2:44 | Thomas8 | 107710
Hi Tim, I totally agree that we are not under a command. I'm not sure a command can produce the oneness like we see in Acts 2 and that unity did not last long. Maybe only a change of heart can produce a family. (Act 5:4 KJVA) Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. The disciples were not forced together. They wanted to be together. Who amoung us today would be ashamed to keep back part of anything? God Bless You, Thomas |

Is there a three year gap between Acts 9:25 and 26? I'm thinking of... (Gal 1:18 KJVA) Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. Is there a chart online to compare the Acts/Galatians chronology? Could you give me your timeline? Best, Thomas |

99 | Foods | Acts 10:11 | Thomas8 | 107690
Peter was hungry: (Act 10:10 KJVA) And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, He had a vision which he did not understand: (Act 10:17 KJVA) Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, The meaning is: (Act 10:28 KJVA) And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. |
