This is the King James Version. It's really my favorite cause it's just so poetic and flows. but the other versions are good too. Psalm 34 1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. 11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. 12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. 16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. 20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. |

Hey Terrib, just a note it seems that anyone who says they are Pentecostal In this forum continually gets attacked. (Read my profile) Just wanted to let you know I like your comment. I always thought that was neat! I have never actually tried to see if it was right or wrong though, but whether it is or not that is a wonderful scripture that EVERYONE should live by.

Don't you find it interesting that when the prophecy of Jesus occured in Isaiah 9:6 That Isaiah said he would be called "The EVERLASTING FATHER"? Interestingly enough too is that this reference on here the amplified version gives Matt 28:18 as a verse to compare to you know what it says? Matthew 28 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Jesus is the Father, the son and the Holy Ghost. He is ALL of them... because there is only one. |

You asked for it honey: Deuteronomy 6:4-5.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 32:3-6 and verse 18.Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy FATHER that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee? Verse 18.Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. Moses refers to God as the Rock. He says plainly the Rock is their father in verse 6. Since he is the one in verse 18 who has begotten them again he confirms the Rock is their father. Psalms 89:26.He shall cry unto me, thou art my father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation. Here we are shown by God himself how he was addressed by David. My FATHER, My GOD, and the ROCK of my salvation. 1 Corinthians 10:1-4.Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea: And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that ROCK WAS CHRIST. Isaiah 43:10-11.Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. God is emphatic that he is the only saviour. John 4:42.And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. We gather from these several verses that God alone is the saviour. Yet the people said Christ was the Saviour of the world. No doubt Christ is God coming as the saviour of his people. Isaiah 44:6.Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts, I am the first, and I am the last; and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD. The same one who says he is the first and the last says, there is no God beside him. He did not know anything about a multi-person godhead. He said I am God and no one else. Revelation 2:8.And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Yahshua is the one who died and rose again. He claims to be the one who is the only God period. If there is no god except the first and the last nobody else can be God except Yahshua. Many believe Yahshua is merely the second of three persons who are God. They would have him as the one in the middle. Yet he says he is both the first and the last. So if God the father is the first person then Yahshua is God the father. If the Holy Ghost is the third (last) person then Yahshua is the Holy Ghost, because he is the first and last. Isaiah 9:6-7.For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. All Christians agree this is a prophecy of the coming of Christ into the world as the Saviour and ruler. It indicates that this son who is given unto us as Saviour and ruler is in reality the one true God himself. His name shall be called MIGHTY GOD-EVERLASTING FATHER put very plainly God the Father. The Christ is both the child who was born and the everlasting Father! So the mystery of Christ is that he is both the Father and the Son. 1 Timothy 3:16.And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. So my friends when was God manifest in the flesh? Was it not when Yahshua was born the Son of God? That was the fulfillment of the MIGHTY GOD-EVERLASTING FATHER coming in the flesh. |

1 Timothy 1:17.Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen Here we see Paul believed in one who was the ONLY WISE GOD. He is the King eternal who is immortal. Now let us see who Paul believed was the only true God. 1 Timothy 6:14-16.That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortalilty, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen If Yahshua is indeed the King eternal (Kings of kings) he is the only wise God. If Yahshua is indeed immortal he is the only true God, for he ONLY has immortality. Revelation 22:6.And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. Who did John believe was the LORD GOD of the holy prophets? Revelation 22:16.I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. So again Yahshua impresses upon the apostle John he is both our Lord and God. Malachi 2:10.Have we not all one father? Hath not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? The one God would have always been God if he had never created anything. But he also became the father of all things by the miracle of creation. So if there is only one God and Yahshua is the MIGHTY GOD there can be no other. If we all have but one father and Yahshua is the EVERLASTING FATHER then he alone is God the Father! It is my earnest desire through this study many will see there is only one God who is the Father of the universe and that Yahshua is himself God. 1 John 4:12.No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1 Timothy 6:16.Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen Several places in the word of God we are told God has never been seen. Isaiah 6:1-5. In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims, each one had six wings, with twain he covered his face and with twain he covered his feet and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another and said Holy Holy Holy is the Lord of Hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house with filled with smoke. Then said I Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips for mine eyes have seen THE KING THE LORD OF HOSTS. So the question must be asked who or what did Isaiah and various others see when they proclaimed they had seen God? In the revelation of this mystery we will discover a truth that will honor Yahshua to the highest place in the universe. 1 Kings 8:27.But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? Solomon recognized that in his essence as omnipresent spirit God was bigger than the universe he had created. Before creation he dwelt alone in indescribable power and glory with himself. Since he never had a beginning he had an eternity to plan the creation of the universe. Since he as omnipresent spirit would be bigger than creation itself he desired to find a way to come inside what he would make and be part of it. John 1:1-3.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Before the beginning God had no need of a form. He was omnipresent spirit dwelling alone so there was no one else to have seen him. But since he desired to be seen in his creation it was necessary for him to create a visible manifestation of himself. This form or visible manifestation would be everything that he himself was except in reduced, visible form. This was not another person who was God but God himself dwelling in the visible form. This form he took would be the same form as the angels who would be the first of his living creation. That way when they were created he would be sitting there on his throne and would explain to them who they were and what he was. So they would not be seeing him as omnipresent spirit, they would be seeing him in angelic form as the image of the invisible God. |

Some see a sharp separation between the one God who is the Father and the one Lord who is Jesus Christ. We must remember that the Holy Spirit has put a cloak of mystery over the identity of the Father and the Son. True enough there is only one God and there is only one Lord. Now let us look and see who the apostles of the New Testament Church believed they were. John 20:27-28.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. All the apostles were gathered together when Thomas proclaimed Yahshua was both his Lord and his God. This was the truth that was plainly revealed to the apostles. So for those who have ears to hear there is one God and that is Yahshua and also there is one Lord who is also Yahshua. For the Lord our God IS ONE. Revelation 22:3-5.And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Notice that the throne of God and the Lamb IS SINGULAR. Also his servants shall serve him not them. They shall see HIS FACE, NOT THEIR FACES. And HIS NAME, NOT THEIR NAMES shall be in their foreheads. It is called the throne of God and of the Lamb. We know the Lamb is Yahshua. Who is the Lord God that giveth them light? Thomas answered and said unto him, (Yahshua) MY LORD AND MY GOD. So the throne of God is occupied by ONE who is BOTH God and the Lamb. Ephesians 5:8.For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: If Christians are the children of light then the light is their father. WHO IS THE LIGHT? John 12:44-46.Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Yahshua is the light. We are the children of light. Conclusion? Yahshua is our Father. 1 John 2:28-29.And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness IS BORN OF HIM. Are we not to abide in Yahshua? Are we not to be ready for HIS COMING? John is plainly writing about Him. He says we are (born of him). If we are born of him we are his children and he is our Father. John 14:6-9.Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hknow the Father apart from Yahshua. Many people today seek the same thing Philip sought. But Yahshua's answer was "have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me?" He says if you have seen me YOU HAVE SEEN THE FATHER! ath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Early in our study Yahshua said no man can know who the Father is unless the Son reveals it to them. Here the apostle Philip wanted to know the Father apart from Yahshua. Many people today seek the same thing Philip sought. But Yahshua's answer was "have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me?" He says if you have seen me YOU HAVE SEEN THE FATHER! Honestly friend, if you were there that day what would you have thought? Again a reminder this truth is hidden from some. To others it is revealed. If you can see the same thing Philip saw that day it is because of divine revelation. The Son has revealed the Father to you. |

Soooooo....now God has multiple personality disorder? People like this in our society are treated with serious meds, we are made in the image and likeness of God, so why don't I have split personalities? Wonder why people get delivered of that when they come to my church? BECAUSE IT'S A SPIRIT. Dangerous ground saying God has it....I wouldn't go there. Where in the bible does it say "Hear o Israel The Lord your God The Lord he is One but in three personalities." |

Kalos, I hate to say this but you are soooo confused. I am now and I will forever be a daughter. So why don't my parents call me daughter? That is so lame. That isn't even an argument. Let me tell you a story. There was a little boy who went shopping in the mall with his father. He kind of wondered off and looked up and daddy was gone but there was a massive swarm of people this little boy stood up on a bench and at the top of his lungs he screamed THOMAS REDLOW!!!!!!! His daddy came running. And he said "Son, why did you call my name? You know I am just Father to you." and his son said something profound that has stuck with me for a long time he said "Well there are a lot of fathers here. But only one Thomas Redlow." If he would have screamed DADDY or FATHER everyone who was a dad would have turned. The same with Jesus. There are a lot of people out there claiming to be the prince of peace there are a lot of people out there claiming to be emmanuel. There are a lot of people out there claiming to be the father. But there is only one Jesus. When I need a new heart or liver or pancreas he is my father and creates one. When I am lost in sin and need saving grace he is the lamb that was slain, the son of the living God, when I am running on low and need a new touch of the Holy Ghost, That's who he becomes. Look we as oneness pentecostals holy rollers tongue talkers or whatever you want to call us we don't deny anything. We just believe what the bible says. IT SAYS THERE IS ONE GOD. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. If you can't see it. That is because God has not revealed it to you. I feel like this arguement is like beating a dead horse. And kicking the dead dog. I have nothing else to say to you people about this subject. I refuse to "cast my pearls before swine" sort of speak. No matter what you come at me with I have scripture to show you, no matter what your interpretation of the bible is. You believe in your desperate attempts at attacking the UPC and apostolics in your previous posts that you will break me. I am not a horse. I know what you are about Kalos. |

You know Tim to be honest with you when you said that I was like, woah wait a minute I have read that before. I was going to call in reinforcements (ask my pastor, who is also my dad) but then I was quickened in the spirit to read this scripture. So I will answer you with this. And just so you know I prefer KJV, not saying one is better than the other, it is just my personal preference. John 14 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Ok in the same breath that Jesus said that he says in verse 18 I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS I WILL COME TO YOU. So Jesus is going to come as the comforter? But he just said he was going to send another? In the same breath my dear friend he says, "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." So the comforter will be in you and Jesus says he will be in you. Interesting, just proves that they are 1. There is no triunity. And interestingly enough it says in verse 17 that "but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." How could that be? He is sending someone else right? But he dwells with them abd SHALL BE IN THEM???? Because Jesus is the Holy Ghost. |

There was a time when I HATED being a "PK" I felt like I had to be perfect. If she ever needs someone to talk to tell her to contact me. I understand the struggles. I have soft spot in my heart for PK's. We have a bad name amongst a lot of people. And no you didn't come across as rude or anything. To be honest with you, I looked up the word in strongs and you are right it does say allos and it means another, other, or one. But it also says to reference another word. Interestingly enough the word it tells me to reference is Alpha. Which is the first letter of the greek alphabet and used to discribe Christ. So, in essence Jesus is the comforter. You have to read that whole verse to see what Jesus is saying.

I am DEFINITLY praying for y'all. My dad was a home missions pastor. Being a pastor's wife is definitely not easy. I know there are times when my mother would rather be something else. Her and my dad have been married for 25 years on mother's day. And have been pastoring for 14. Well, Pastor Tim, it is ok if I call you that right? I just feel like special respect is due for ministry. The rest of the chapter tells what Jesus was saying when he said this. Yes he said another, but he also claimed to be that one. In the same chapter in the same breath. He claimed to be the comforter. He was telling them that he would no longer be With them humanly but he would be IN them spiritually. Great is the mystery of Godliness. God can do more that we even think possible. Hey BTW put my little bro on your prayer list. I have been like telling everyone. He had (I say had because we believe he is healed) brain cancer he is 11 years old. He was suppose to have died on October 16, 2003, but God has other plans for him. Just ask your congregation to pray for a COMPLETE recovery. |

I appreciate your information Brad. I practically teethed on the church pew. I understand what you are saying. I feel no pride. This truth is not MY truth, it is God's. I do not feel that I have in anyway lifted myself up. Those who know me know that I have no pride to speak of. I only speak of my Jesus. You know that song "Alabaster Box" by CeCe Winans? That is me. You don't know my story. You don't know where I have come from, where I have been. I am adamant about what I believe. I apologize if you find my ways offensive, I am only contending for my faith. Jude 1 2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and (And is also translated EVEN) our Lord Jesus Christ. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down |

I honestly don't think that the crucifixion was something pretty. I think this movie portrays it well, but I think it was probably a lot worse than what is shown in the movie. Refer to Mark 14:65, Luke 22:63-64, In the NIV of Isaiah 53 it says he was "CRUSHED" for our iniquities. I believe in my heart that he was litterally beaten to a bloody pulp. Plus they plucked his beard. I know how bad it hurts to pluck my eyebrows, so it was aweful. But that is just my oppinion. Isaiah 53 4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression [1] and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. 9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. |

Psalm 103 (KJV) 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; *Does he forgive ALL your iniquities? If your answer is yes then he heals ALL of your diseases. Mark 16:18 (KJV) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. It says they SHALL recover. Not they MIGHT. James 5 (KJV) 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Once again it says they SHALL be raised up. Not they MIGHT. But in this verse it is a question of FAITH. Jesus said Luke 18:8 b (KJV) Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? It is a question of faith. You can say I believe, but do you have the faith? |

If God doesn't grant what we want Bradk then why did Jesus say Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Psalm 67:2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Isaiah 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rearward. Matthew 10 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Luke 9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Are you saying that the bible was false when these were stated? Jesus guarenteed healing in the old testament with Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. And in the new testament it is PAST TENSE and it STILL guarentees our healing 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. I think this just proves the fact that there is a horrible lack of faith in our churches. It is sad to think that people do not have the faith to see healing and miracles. It says THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE. WHERE ARE THE SIGNS??????????????????????????? |
