541 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 39122
This questions really start in are Jesus and the Father is the same person. I have no argument if Jesus Christ is God, because I believed that He is God. What I am trying to say is that they are different person, God the Father is not Jesus and Jesus is not the Father and they are not equal. God the Father knew something that Jesus Christ did not know. (the second coming) If they are equal and the same time same person, why Jesus Christ accepted that He did not know when is the time of second coming. Did He forget it when He is born human? can you show that passages that will stated before He knew it but He forget when He is born human? Or Is He mentioned that after He died on the cross, He will knew it again? show me that verses and I will agree, I want a passages and not any of your conclusions. God bless, Johnny |

542 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 39651
I wrote in my post that I do really believed that Jesus Christ is God no problem with that. Phil 2:6, 7 saya that He in the form of God, I knew that because He is God but not equal with the God the Father because they are different person. He dont think His equality to Himself "before" He was born Human. He is God before being born human, this is the "God" that mention in that passages and not the God the Father. If they really equal Jesus will not mentioned that word that "Father is Greater than I am" You said"so, for the third time : Jesus is God the Son, not God the Father. they are equal yet separate persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Never in the bible mentioned that they are equal, it is fruit of your conclusion. Who is the powerful the one who pray the request or the one grant the request. Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; The Jesus is the one praying to the Father, to give us the Holy Spirit, You said that they are equal, use your logic, which is powerful the one who give or the one given. Joh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. In that passages, Jesus mentioned:"neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him." My questioned to you is who sent the Holy Spirit? God the Father, Holy Spirit is not a human form it is Holy Spirit but it is God the Father sent the Holy Spirit. You said they are equal, but Jesus Christ said ":"neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him." who do you suggest to me to believed? you or Jesus Christ? Some of my question you did not answers, Did Jesus Forget the time of Second coming? Can you show me that passages that He forget that and why He did not know that if they are really equal? God bless, Johnny |

543 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 40547
It seems that you dont understand what I am trying to say. As a matter of fact you just comment on the part that whant to commented to. To make this discussion short and simple, please answer this question. If they really equal, why Jesus Christ did not know the time of second coming: Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. What happened here my friend did He forgot that time when He born human? If you said yes! please show the scripture word by word that Jesus Christ forgot that time when He born human. Can you show me the scriptures that show there are equal persons that the other co equal person did not know things that knew of the other co-eqaul person. Like the second coming, Jesus Christ said "My Father onLy" He admit that He did not know the time of second coming, what kind of equality is that anyway? Please explain with scriptures and not with your conclusions. Please answer this question with a passages support and not with your conclusion. I ask this question many time but you ignore it you did try to answer it. Try to answer this with scripture support to depend what you believed is true. I hope this time you will answers this question, it was a single question now, I hope you will not escape this time. God bless, Johnny |

546 | is God and Jesus are one person? | Heb 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 119229
Quote "A handful of passages translated to support the trinity, even when it may be a legimate grammatical alternative to do so, cannot overcome the overwhelming evidence supporting Jesus being the firstborn of creation, a separate and obviously inferior creature to the Creator who had no beginning." end of quote. I really believed the superiority of the Father but this is not mean that Jesus was a creation. If you refer to Him as first born of all creation, you must understand that really He is the FirstBorn of every creature because He created them. Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: If you read this succeeding verse you will understand that Christ is not a creation but a creator. Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: "By Him all things are created" that are in heaven, and that in earth, visible, has trone or none. Did He create Himself? NO! Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. All things are made by Him, Did he create Himself? NO! He was in the bosom of the Father. Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. God bless, |

547 | Could the "2 witnesses" be ... | Heb 11:13 | jlpangilinan | 53361
I hope that you will agree that bible will not contradict itself. It very clear that they "all died" in faith, what kind of all is that if enoch is not included there. He is talking about them from the very start of the chapter, and I hope you will believed to the writing of apostle paul that it is appoint unto men once to die, but after this the judgement. Now if enoch and elijah is men they should die once otherwise paul is liar. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. These verse also will explain that our corruptible body will have to be incorruptible. We have to die to be ressurected, how can Christ ressurect them from the dead if they still alive physically. Then again if dont believed that bible will not contradict itself it your problem my friend, you can do all your reason out. God bless, Johnny |

548 | Could the "2 witnesses" be ... | Heb 11:13 | jlpangilinan | 54691
I would agree that not all of the people will die, because there are people alive in the second coming of Christ. But in case of Elijah and Enoch, the assessment of Paul to them they all died in faith. 2 Kings 2:11 says that Elijah went up to heaven, is true, of course if you analyze the situation his son saw him that Elijah has been caught up to heaven. But we are sure that it is the first heaven that we saw now. It is not metioned there that it was the heaven that the "kingdom of God" otherwise, his son will also saw the angels and where exactly elijah sit or place. In addition, his son maybe saw God there in heaven. If enoch or elijah already being caught up with thier corruptible body Paul had lie in his statement: 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. and his assessment that they all died in faith, I dont think that Paul will lie in his statement. If they already caught up in heaven, not only paul you will accused of lying you also include John: Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. John said "no man" hath ascended up to heaven. If he said "no man" who is enoch and elijah are they man or what? Im sure you will agree that they are man. Bible will not contradict itself my friend, the assessment of paul is very clear, they all died in faith, and I am sure that he never lie in his statement. |

Who is that wisdom in proverbs: Pr 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: We believe that is Christ: 1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Are there other wisdom of God aside from Christ? God bless, Johnny |

550 | does God know all things? Genesis 22:12 | James 2:21 | jlpangilinan | 80209
Ray, Can you show me the verse that stated that God knew the result even before He tested the faith of Abraham? If God really knew everything how can you explain this verses: Ge 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; Ge 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. Can you show based on this verse that God knew already the things that He want to know at sodom before going down. God bless, |

551 | does God know all things? Genesis 22:12 | James 2:21 | jlpangilinan | 80282
Do you suggest that what you picture in your mind is not pictured by the author of the book? Moses wrote this way: Ge 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; Ge 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. The Lord said this to abraham. "and if not, I will know" The Lord said not He knew it already, moses wrote the same thing. If the Lord said that to abraham "and if not, I will know" but He knew it already does this God a liar God? If moses knew that God knew it already then he still wrote that way, moses is a liar too. If moses wrote that way because he dont know if the Lord God knew already about the cry of sodom, then it seem that you are better than moses because you you know that the Lord knew it already the things that moses did not. Again you did show me the passages that the Lord knew it already even before He go down. I want to focus on that verses. God bless, |

553 | Was Jesus a captive? | 1 Pet 3:19 | jlpangilinan | 21948
Speakdtruth, I really like your answer to I think it was your question also. I have a friend whom belong to Jehovas Witnessess, and thier beleived that Jesus Christ Died both Body and Spirit. I would like to take this opportunity to raise this question for you and I am very greatful if you can explain my querry. First of all I would like to know if for you is the death of spirit of Jesus Christ, meaning no existence? My question are: If the spirit of Jesus Christ died how he can he preach in hell? 1Pe 3:18 ¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 18. 1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Also it was mentioned that God cast angels into hell: 2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; If Jesus Christ did not exist when He decended to hell? why the rich man exist. I dont think Jesus Christ will teach different from reality? Here in the next passages, in the parables of Jesus Christ when the rich man died he tormented in hell, meaning he exist there because he feel the fire of hell? Lu 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 22. Lu 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 23. Lu 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. It is not a debate, I am also sometimes tormented to this kind of circumstances. speak the truth, Johnny |

Disciplerami, There are people saying they dont like the music, but afterwards saw them dancing in the said music. If searcher56 really against water baptism, then he against the teaching of Christ, if then they obseving water baptism in thier congregation, he maybe dance in the music that he didnt like. Water baptism indeed is commandment of Christ why keep attacking it.: Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. He said that why hard to us to just follow it. Christ subject Himself to be baptized by John, I dont think Christ will do that if it is not important. Mt 3:13 ¶ Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. Do they think just do that for nothing? What do yout think. Bible written not to subject by reader conscluions, but to believed it. God bless, |

once again I would like to take a look with the verse that paul said. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: I am very agree with that verse, its explain that the salvation is free, it is clear that Jesus done His part to gave His grace to us. Others would say that we dont need "good works" but it not written in that verse that we dont need "good works" "works" (it could be works of law) because we created to for good works. Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. If we just continue reading in Eph 2:10 this is was we see "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. "we are created unto good works" are we really need not to do good works? and what we are going to do bad? Paul explain in 1cor 13:1 that even he has all the faith but without works he like a "or a tinkling cymbal" 1Co 13:1 ¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And James 2:17 supported that by saying Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Finally paul said this 1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. I really like this statement of paul "I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing" The same apostle that wrote eph 2:8 and 2:9 that say "we save by grace through faith" explain the importance of "good works" to our faith. He said even he "all the faith" that can remove mountains, but without charity "I am nothing" Paul himself show us the importance of "good works". This like what baptism do with our faith, ananias encourage paul to be baptise. to wash away sin. Ananias never said that faith only will wash your sin. Ac 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. We ahve many things we could agree on this, Bible is written to believed and not to subject in anyone conclusions. God bless, |

559 | Can a born again sin as they did before? | 1 John 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 67810
Dear Hank, My posting is clear (I hope) I am talking about the true born again a true believer. My argument is this, if the one being born again is before is a killer in intentions then called for a salvation (born again) He cannot do what he had done before i.e killing. I gave the example of paul, Christ live in him he not live his own but Christ live in him. I am sure if Christ lives in you how could you kill someone as Christ said love your nieghbor as thyself? Paul before called by christ, was a different man he forsaken the apostle of christ and even Persecution against stephen and the followers of Christ he took a prominent part But after Christ called him, did he commit the same acts? If the person that has Christ in Him and Christ live in Him can kill can rape, what kind of christ is that living in that person. God bless, Johnny |

560 | Can a born again sin as they did before? | 1 John 1:8 | jlpangilinan | 67811
You write "I think once your "born again" you're always "born again" regardless of if you stumble...However, only those who are sincere of heart in their commitment to God...and only God knows the heart...are those that struggle to be as sinless as possible due to their love and faith in Jesus Christ...there is only one sin that cannot be forgiven and that is to deny or "blasphemy" God once you make the commitment to become "reborn". ..to deny Him...that is merely my own understanding, but you should search the Scriptures for yourself." I am sorry but I will disagree with you. Once you born again you you always born again. This is not a big reason that God will tolerate such actions. For example if I am a killer then called for salvation (born again) received Christ and Christ lives in me how could I commit the same things I've done bofore. paul specifies that once you received Christ, Christ lives in you and not yours: Ga 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Now if Christ live in me and still I can commit killings rape etc, what kind of chirst is that live in me a tolerable kind of christ? Could you please cite me any apostle that once a killer then born again and commit the same acts after being born again, please I will very thankful if can provide. God bless, Johnny |
