41 | Did you know... | Deut 6:4 | jcsav | 112749
EdB, There are different levels of Growth in the Church. Anyone that thinks they are going to heaven just because they are Oneness Pentecostal is not mature. I don't challenge on the ground that trinitarians believe in three Gods. Trinitarians exsplain themselves and view trinity differently. Some Pentecostals even state their own meaning what Trinity is. I challenge the fact that you think that they have three personalities. But if you was to ask me, Yes I would say you are trying to serving three Gods or gods.

45 | Did you know... | Deut 6:4 | jcsav | 113306
What posting or you talking about? And why would I want to fight with you? My views may seem more trinitarian because I do not go to great links to picking Scripture that is no doubt "oneness" and leave along what I know to be the manifestation or offices of God (which the trinitarians is more likely to use). And the reason I don"t is because as I said before. It requires Obedience for God to show himself. And you don't need full understanding of the Godhead to be obedient. When God fills someone with the Holy Ghost, he don't ask anyone if it would be alright. How do someone understand how David (one man) can speak (His Spirit) to his (Own Soul). But you don't know how Jesus prayed to His Father and still be ONE. And when one receive the Holy Ghost this awareness is only strengtened.

51 | Why did God wait to send the Holy Spirit | Joel 2:28 | jcsav | 113788
Sir Pent, The indwelling spirit did not dwell in the individual. It moved upon them for a service that needed to be perform. This is not the promised Spirit that could only be brought about by Jesus death on the cross. This is what helped at the day of pentecost.Read Act 2:16-21. |

52 | Why did God wait to send the Holy Spirit | Joel 2:28 | jcsav | 113962
Sir Pent Sorry for the delay. I could spend hours on this, but the Scripture that I think may shed light on your two questions is Galatians 4:1-8. See if this helps. Paul do a great job in explaining this. Try the Amplified. Also, keep in mind that God do not see time as we do. |

53 | Why did God wait to send the Holy Spirit | Joel 2:28 | jcsav | 114089
Paul is speaking to the Jews not the Gentiles. The Gentiles were not called "sons". Neither was we (Gentiles) under the "Law". Read it many times with God being the Father and the Jews being the "sons". See how it makes sense that If God had come early, it would not have made sense, because they would not have been mature enough. It is like giving a six year old, a car, even thought he owns it, it does not mean he should have it.
54 | Why did God wait to send the Holy Spirit | Joel 2:28 | jcsav | 114127
Though your statement have some correctness to it. I am trying to understand why you don't understand Paul fully. You seem to understand that in God, there is neither Jew or Gentile. But, do you realize that in the Church then (the Galatian Church, which was mostly Jews) and the Church today (The True Church) that there are both Jews and Gentiles?
55 | Why did God wait to send the Holy Spirit | Joel 2:28 | jcsav | 114149
Very Good. You understand better than I thought. So the Jews that believe is the remnant that is spoken of in Romans 11:5. This is true today as well. That is who Paul was speaking to. Can you include the Gentiles? In parts of it, maybe. But that is not who Paul was speaking to.
56 | what does the bible say about divorce | Mal 2:16 | jcsav | 143915
Greentwiga, I believe 1 Cor 7:13 is a better Scripture for what you are saying. Any man that beats or abuse his wife is not content in living with her. Even thought, he may not leave her. I can not call him a believer, though many of you may disagree. Like Paul, this is from me and not Christ.
57 | what does the bible say about divorce | Mal 2:16 | jcsav | 143972
First of all Paul lets us know that it is him speaking and not the Holy Spirit. I also let it be known that it was my opinion, now tell me how is that twisting Scripture?
58 | what does the bible say about divorce | Mal 2:16 | jcsav | 143973
Greentwiga, I was stating opinion. Also I said nothing about remarring. And lets not forget this is Pauls response and not Chirst.
59 | what does the bible say about divorce | Mal 2:16 | jcsav | 143977
I said nothing about drug addiction and I said nothing about being free to remarry. If I am wrong, then it can not be a Loving reponse from my heart as you say, it would be an evil reponse.
60 | what does the bible say about divorce | Mal 2:16 | jcsav | 143998
Hank, an opinion is all that it can be on this subject. You are correct All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable. But Paul made it clear that this did not come from the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 12:12," To the rest I declare-I, not the Lord ......." Paul would not have say this if it had been from the Lord. It was also Paul's opinion that one remain unmarried as himself. Isn't it strange, there's not many to take that advice. They seem to understand, that, Scripture.
