41 | jcsav, are there candlesticks today? | Rev 2:1 | jcsav | 146963
Searcher, read Rev.1:19,"Write therefore the things you see, what they are (and signify) and what is to take place hereafter." Notice the words "are" and "hereafter". This is not only speaking of past (what they are) but also future (hereafter). This do not mean that there are any additional golden candlesticks. But that the seven churches represented. Contain the same Spirit(s) of error that exist in the True Churches of today. The message is the same today as then. Also take notice in verse 22. "He that is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the (Holy) Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). Thanks, for the change of thread. We needed it. jcsav |

So, when the Lord says you must be born of the Water and Spirit. He is not speaking of water Baptism? Is Mar 16:16 speaking of water baptism or is this Spirit baptism only? As for as Eph 2:8,9 goes. Faith do have works. I surpose you see Water baptism as a works (it is not works of the Law) Baptism is for remission of sin (Act 2:38). It is possible only by the death of Christ. It did not come from man, but God. You have just proved my point. If it is not salvific. Then that mean you can be born again without it. And it also mean that you can be saved, without following our Lords commandment to do so. Is that what you are saying, Hank?
43 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146946
I can think of many different ways to be Baptised d (according to the many different groups) and all do not lead to Salvation. How many (ways) do you think the apostles used? Don't you think Jesus told them how to do it.I was not aware that God baptises with water. Are do you believe that it is even necessary? God saves but he do so by using people.
44 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146936
I used the same phase as EdB. I assumed that he meant as the "answers" as it would pretain to Salvation. Not answers to every question that may be asked.
45 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146934
That was true even in the Churches that we know to be True. Jesus had something against all, but one of the Seven Churches in Asia (Rev.1:20-22). Do you think they all had many different beliefs? And if he said, that he would remove one of these (if they did not repent) (Rev 2:5) Then there is no reason why we should think, that every group and denomination that say they know him, have a candlestick before him.
46 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146932
I agree. But in order to be saved, You must be born of the Water and Spirit. And it must be done correctly. And if you know Christ. Then you should know, what that is.
47 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146931
You are right Hank. Sure there is always Truth to line up with more Truth. But any Church that claim to know the Gospel of Christ, Should have enought answers to know how One is to be born again. They should at least know what is the One Faith, One Lord, And One Baptism. They should know what Jesus meant when he said, "You must be born of the Water and the Spirit. How can you have Salvation without the New Birth. And If any Church or Denomination do not have these answers. What good is the answer to other questions. Why even ask?
48 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146820
If one group or denomination do not have all the answers. Then that mean that the Church that Christ gave his blood for, no longer exist upon the face of the Earth. But, instead, the doctrine have been scattered among all the denominations. And each one may have only a fragment, of the Truth. Jesus did say, upon this Rock, I build my Church and all the gates of hell shall not previle against it. Didn't he? Can anyone be saved with only a fragment?
49 | Do you have to know Christ? | Eph 2:8 | jcsav | 146734
Only one person have entered into heaven, following the Law and that was Jesus Christ. There is only one way and that Way is through Jesus Christ.
50 | Do you have to know Christ? | Eph 2:8 | jcsav | 146733
The Pastor that you speak of, may have meant those who had not heard The Gospel (sense I did not hear him, I can not tell), even then, you can not say that they know nothing, about the Lord. According to Romans, and parts of Psalms all creation speaks of him, so even they, are without excuse. God will judge them in Rightousness. But, those who hear and reject the Gospel is condemned already. If a Christian (or one called so) do not Love his brother. How can he Love God?

53 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146679
I assume you wrote this before you realized that I am "Oneness". Must, see our Gospel as being against what Paul taught. But, Yes, we see it as serious too.
54 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146678
No, that is not what we believe. This is Sad for me to say, but that teaching came out from some that left us. The revelation of Oneness can not be taught to be understood. You can only call Jesus "Lord" by the Holy Ghost. We believe Jesus to be not only the Son, But "Father" and "Holy Ghost". That is why we baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, as did the Apostles. If you do not wait on God (to reveal) It is easy to get confused or lefted up (when it is given) that there is but One God.

59 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 146548
EdB Not only am I not mistaken, but I know who started that "Leaven." And just to prove it to you. Track the Organization of that Preacher and see where it leads. It will confirm what I told you. |

Edb I have seen those possessed with demons. They do and will speak to you. The individual that preached this different Jesus. Was not preaching the One true gospel. You did a good job in using the Word of God to try the Spirits. But, again I preach a different Jesus, than the one you believe in. So, are you skilled enought in the Word, to try my Spirit? |
