82 | Will suicide condem my soul to hell? | Bible general Archive 2 | jcsav | 146192
Read, Matt 25:14-30. If you understand the parable of the talents. Then you will understand what a waste it is to commit suicide. We are all but on this earth for a purpose. With gifts and talents that God meant for us to use for his Glory. Not to be wasted. It is the adversary that came to steal, kill and destroy. Also, there is a Scripture which says if you destroy God's Temple, him will God also destroy.
83 | Will suicide condem my soul to hell? | Bible general Archive 2 | jcsav | 146191
Samson asked God's permission to die. That hardly qualify as a suicide. Also, he could not have done so (died as he did), without God's intervension. That is not the case when someone take his or her own life.

Merv Please, reconsider your thoughts on The second Death (Hell). It is true God is a just and loving God. But, He will do what He say. And the Bible tells us this is Just. Gods Love (agape) is quite different from what many of us think. |

86 | Scripture supporting Sprinkling/Immersio | Rom 6:1 | jcsav | 146066
Acts 10:47 "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Note: Peter COMMANDED (seeing that they had already, received the Holy Ghost) that they be baptised. He did not ask them if they wanted to. How can you say, that "water" have nothing to do with being baptised with the Holy Ghost? Also read 1John 3:5. This is the One baptism. You can not separate them. |

87 | Scripture supporting Sprinkling/Immersio | Rom 6:1 | jcsav | 146065
I do not agree that it is overused. No Scripture is overused if it is used in "Truth." It is for the correction of those who are in error. You know, as well as I, that it is clear and to the point.
88 | Women in Ministry | 1 Tim 2:12 | jcsav | 145925
Yayatheresa, Timothy is clearly speaking of the Husband and Wife and not all men in verse 2:13-15. The same can be said for 1cor 14:34-35. The "Law" spoken of has to be Husband and Wife. There is no Law, that a woman must be in subjection to all men (but only to her own husband). That came about though tradition and not by the Word of God. And remember, Jesus Christ is head of them both. |

89 | What's in a Name? | Acts 2:38 | jcsav | 145698
Why is it, that you would not want to be "in association with" Jesus Christ by baptizm? Also, if what you say is correct. Then why do Peter (Acts 2:38)say that, repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was for the, "REMISSION OF SIN." ' |

Hank, it is from me. Isn't it reasonable to request which post you are referring to. BradK toke the position of postulate in post 144078. It was under this premise that I answered him. And under this premise, what right do he have to be insulted. However, I would not have answered him in such a faction otherwise.
91 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144213
EdB, Now Searher56 says that I was mistaken in what he said. But the post is 143598 in his ps. Thats no surprise. But the Words of the True Gospel is indeed, the Power of God and so are their usage. You keep using the word "semantics" as if it has some power, but it do not. |

92 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144211
You stated in Post 143984 ".....so it is possible to believe, and not be saved." That is your statement isn't it. And, if not, It changes nothing, except my joy, of you having been enlighten.
93 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144210
I understand better than you, because of what I have been telling you all along. I have the Holy Ghost. Do you think you know yourself better than He. You know what Discernment is? It is one of the gifts of the Spirit. You know as well as I, that I did not lie.

Hank, you just don't get it, do you. I did not get a victory. Everyone profits from the Truth. God is glorified. The only one that is mad, is the Devil.
96 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144128
1. Who is the verse speaking to and what does it mean in context? It is speaking to all believers who had ALREADY Repented and been Baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. According to Acts 2:38. (You on the other hand have not done so, if you had, you would understand my words) By this, you would have been baptised into the Body of Christ. You would have also spoke in tongues as the Spirit of God would have given you utterance. 2. How exactly has scripture contradicted you? The Holy Ghost do not agree with what you are teaching. How do I know? Because I have indeed received the Holy Ghost by the baptism of Jesus. I did not claim it on my own. And he do speak and that means, not just in tongues. You have a form of Godliness. But it is not according to Power. Did you know that in the presence of anyone that is part of the body of Christ can use his name to fill individuals with the Holy Ghost. And with that name can cause those with demons to manifest themselves (They (demons) even speak to you ). You can also case them out using that name "JESUS CHRIST". |

97 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144125
To you it is semantics. To me it is the Power of God. Notice, Searcher, after all that, finally, got it! He came up with a Scripture that was more to the point than the ones I had used (Glory be to God). That's what made it all worth it. And just as I was right about the believer, So am I right about other things.
98 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144076
I am, to the point of staking my soul on it. It is my wish that God, also bless you.
99 | some people say you must speak in tongue | 1 Cor 12:4 | jcsav | 144075
No, the Corinthian Church had that along with Paul. I Cor. 12:13 do not say YOU have that. And you are right, one of us is very much in error. Paul is speaking of the Body of Christ. Though the Church of Corinthians is long gone. His body did not go anywhere, it has not ceased. I have not contradicted Scripture. Scripture have contradiced you.

If they don't believe, they probably will never believed. Hog wash. What do you think the Gospel is for. You think I have always believe. You don't stop doing the work of your Father. But, you want me to stop doing the work of mine. I am not going to remain on the forum, if that is what concern you.
