"our resurection bodies will therefore not have primary, or secondary generative organs." ebrain, can you support that with Scripture? I can't find where God's word definitively states that and consider it to be speculative at best unless you have some supporting references. WOS |

Dear ebrain, Please look a little closer, what I posted was copy righted. It was not my words. I won’t claim to know either way. However, you made a claim that “sex is no longer necessary, and our resurection bodies will therefore not have primary, or secondary generative organs.” (sic) It wasn’t I that stated this, but you. I asked you to support it with Scripture and apparently you can’t, so to make an unsubstantiated claim like that is really not the proper thing to do, now is it? All I’ll claim is that Scripture isn’t supportive either way, therefore I’m not sure. Rather than making an unsupported claim, that’s about as honest as I can be. You ask: “Please let me know just what you think Jesus was intending to convey at Mat 22:30.” My simple answer would be immortality, life everlasting. Maybe Luke’s depiction is clearer for you. Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. WOS |

Romans 3:9,10: 9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Isaiah 53:3-6: 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:11, 12: 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. “John 19:16 says, "Then delivered he Him, therefore, unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led Him away."… …“One important word in verse 16 is the word "delivered." Pilate "delivered" Jesus to be crucified. Romans 8:32 says, "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all...." Who delivered Jesus? Not only the governor of Judea, but the Governor of the universe. You say, "Does that mean Pilate and God were working together?" Exactly. In no way does the vileness, unbelief, cowardice, or sin of Pilate alter the plan of God. God's plans are on schedule, whether they operate through sinful men or holy men. God is the author of history. So, God delivered over Jesus, as well as Pilate. The Bible says that He "was delivered for our offenses" (Rom. 4:25a). What men mean for evil, God means for good; and He makes the wrath of men to praise Him (Ps. 76:10a). So many people have the mistaken idea that if you are a sinful man, you will foul up God's plans. Not in any way. God works through men, holy or sinful.” – John MacArthur (Crucifixion and Resurrection / The Crucifixion--Part 1) http://www.biblebb.com/files/MAC/sg1574.htm “We often think that Jesus bore our sins only when He died, but He also bore our sins in His pain and suffering. He was bearing sin even when He was still alive on the cross. And I also believe that when He was scourged, He was bearing the punishment of sin. Isaiah 53:5 says, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities...." Even when they hit Him in the face, He was suffering for sin. Isaiah 53:5 concludes: "...the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed." His suffering did not just begin on the cross, it began with all of the punches, the spit, and all of the punishment He suffered prior to the cross.” – John MacArthur (Crucifixion and Resurrection / Shall I Crucify Your King?) http://www.biblebb.com/files/MAC/sg1573.htm In OUR depravity, we must share the responsibility that under divine direction, Christ was crucified for OUR sins, to set US free, to save US. WOS John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. |

46 | Is it disrespectful to not use a title | Bible general Archive 3 | Wild Olive Shoot | 177757
To your question: “Does that look like it can be used as a title?” Most certainly if read in the proper context. I don’t wish to debate this with you Sister. Simply wanted to provide some Scripture you claimed didn’t exist. Christ has many titles and Apostle was one of them and most assuredly it was implied and applied by the author of Hebrews as I have pointed out. If you do your word substituting here and elsewhere, the Twelve could not have the title either so let’s just remove the word and the title and office it is associated with. Some commentary below that I find helpful. Hope you do as well. In Him, WOS “The apostle - The word “apostle” is nowhere else applied to the Lord Jesus. The word means one who “is sent” - and in this sense it might be applied to the Redeemer as one “sent” by God, or as by way of eminence the one sent by him. But the connection seems to demand that; there should be some allusion here to one who sustained a similar rank among the Jews; and it is probable that the allusion is to Moses, as having been the great apostle of God to the Jewish people, and that Paul here means to say, that the Lord Jesus, under the new dispensation, filled the place of Moses and of the high priest under the old, and that the office of “apostle” and “high priest,” instead of being now separated, as it was between Moses and Aaron under the old dispensation, was now blended in the Messiah. The name “apostle” is not indeed given to Moses directly in the Old Testament, but the verb from which the Hebrew word for apostle is derived is frequently given him. Thus, in Exo_3:10, it is said, “Come now, therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh.” And in Heb_3:13, “The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you.” So also in Heb_3:14-15, of the same chapter. From the word there used - shaalach - “to send.” The word denoting “apostle - shaliyach - is derived; and it is not improbable that Moses would be regarded as being by way of eminence the one “sent” by God. Further, the Jews applied the word ” - shaliyach - “apostle,” to the minister of the synagogue; to him who presided over its affairs, and who had the general charge of the services there; and in this sense it might be applied by way of eminence to Moses as being the general director and controller of the religious affairs of the nation, and as “sent” for that purpose. The object of Paul is to show that the Lord Jesus in the Christian system - as the great apostle sent from God - sustained a rank and office similar to this, but superior in dignity and authority.” – Albert Barnes’ Notes on the Bible “the Apostle and High Priest of our profession — There is but one Greek article to both nouns, “Him who is at once Apostle and High Priest” - Apostle, as Ambassador (a higher designation than “angel”-messenger) sent by the Father (Joh_20:21), pleading the cause of God with us; High Priest, as pleading our cause with God. Both His Apostleship and High Priesthood are comprehended in the one title, Mediator [Bengel]. Though the title “Apostle” is nowhere else applied to Christ, it is appropriate here in addressing Hebrews, who used the term of the delegates sent by the high priest to collect the temple tribute from Jews resident in foreign countries, even as Christ was Delegate of the Father to this world far off from Him (Mat_21:37). Hence as what applies to Him, applies also to His people, the Twelve are designated His apostles, even as He is the Father’s (Joh_20:21). It was desirable to avoid designating Him here “angel,” in order to distinguish His nature from that of angels mentioned before, though he is “the Angel of the Covenant.” The “legate of the Church” (Sheliach Tsibbur) offered up the prayers in the synagogue in the name of all, and for all. So Jesus, “the Apostle of our profession,” is delegated to intercede for the Church before the Father. The words “of our profession,” mark that it is not of the legal ritual, but of our Christian faith, that He is the High Priest. Paul compares Him as an Apostle to Moses; as High Priest to Aaron. He alone holds both offices combined, and in a more eminent degree than either, which those two brothers held apart.” – Jamieson, Fausset and Brown Commentary |

47 | Mary's virginity remained intact | Bible general Archive 3 | Wild Olive Shoot | 180604
I think I may see what you are trying to get at. Just for talking points, I’m not submitting anything impregnable, (no pun intended) I’ll address with my opinions some of the questions I see raised in the post. Q: Does it not qualify as adultery by virtue of the fact it was God who was involved? I would have to agree that it was not adultery, firstly, as you stated, it was not a sexual act. Simply because it was the Holy Spirit acting upon Mary also informs me that it was not adultery, physically or spiritually. Bottom line here is God cannot sin and would not partake of tempting anyone to sin. So from both God’s standpoint and Mary’s, there was no act of adultery, neither physically nor mentally. Q: Would Joseph feel betrayed? I think at first Joseph, by seeing what is recorded in the Gospels, did feel at least some sort of betrayal as he ponder things and because his plan was to divorce her, be it quietly. But I also propose this was before the angel of God informed him of what had actually taken place. At that point, we see his obedience and read no more about any sort of distrust or apprehension on his part, at least it is not recorded. My view is that God took great care in ensuring Joseph was okay with what happened. After all, He could have had Mary simply deliver the message and maybe she did and maybe Joseph already had some idea. But God sent an angel to inform Joseph. How could he not be okay with that? Albert Barnes writes in reference to Matthew 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: “Did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him - That is, he took Mary to wife. Probably this was done immediately, since he was now convinced of her innocence, and, by delay, he would not leave any ground of suspicion that he had not confidence in her.” Q: Why it may be different because it was God, not man? “for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost; she has not been guilty of any criminal conversation with men; this conception of her's is of the Holy Ghost, and entirely owing to his coming upon her, and overshadowing her in a wonderful and miraculous manner. I say, the Angel not only encourages Joseph after this manner, but delivers something to him by way of prophecy, in the following verse.” – John Gill I think Joseph understood that and therefore looked upon this event as a divine event and being encouraged by the angel of the Lord that there was nothing to fear, considered it no longer. Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. “Joseph, suspecting she was with child by whoredom, was afraid of taking her, lest he should bring upon himself either guilt or reproach. No, saith God, Fear not; the matter is not so. Perhaps Mary had told him that she was with child by the Holy Ghost, and he might have heard what Elizabeth said to her (Luk_1:43), when she called her the mother of her Lord; and, if so, he was afraid of presumption in marrying one so much above him. But, from whatever cause his fears arose, they were all silenced with this word, Fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife. Note, It is a great mercy to be delivered from our fears, and to have our doubts resolved, so as to proceed in our affairs with satisfaction.” - Matthew Henry Just my opinions, and some others. Hi John, My two cents worth... Sounds like you may be confusing common sense with moral values. Logically, if you stick "my" hand in the fire, you know that “I'll” get burned, common sense right? What is it that keeps you from wanting to put my hand in the fire? Common sense doesn't inform me that something is evil or bad, my moral values do. Common sense simply allows me to apply logic to determine a possible outcome. Moral values allow me to apply logic to prevent an undesirable outcome involving guilt or shame. 49 | Can the devil tune in to our thoughts? | Bible general Archive 3 | Wild Olive Shoot | 188226
InGodITrust, You need to offer biblical proof to support your statement of “only human beings have a mouth, tongue, vocal cords, and so on; spiritual beings do not of which Satan is one”. In response to your statement: “Again, it is just my observation; But, how else do "spiritual beings communicate?" And, are we also going to say that "God can not or does not read our thougts?" The scriptures clearly say He does, and if so, there is nothing to indicate in scripture that other spiritual beings can not.” God is not simply a “spiritual being”. He is the Almighty Creator of the universe and everything that resides in it. He created the spiritual beings. Don’t dare put them on the same playing level. I’m not certain whether our minds can be read by the devil or not, but I would submit that there probably isn’t a need to. As long as he has been around to observe our wicked ways, I’m sure he knows more about us than he needs to in order to tempt us. Interestingly enough, following are some excerpts from the commentary Albert Barnes has in reference to 2 Corinthians 4:4, he seems to support your opinion that the devil may have a direct influence on our minds, but I don’t get that he thinks he has free access to our thoughts, again, I’m not sure, just posting for information. I don’t think Scripture supports that our minds can be read by the devil, but it surely shows there can be an influence upon it. “Hath blinded the minds of them which believe not - Of all who discern no beauty in the gospel, and who reject it. It is implied here:” “That the minds of unbelievers are blinded; that they perceive no beauty in the gospel.” “That this is done by the agency of Satan; and that his dominion is secured by keeping the world in darkness.” “Some of the “modes” in which it is done are the following:” “By a direct influence on the minds of people.” “By the false philosophy which has prevailed” “By the systems of superstition and idolatry.” “By producing in the minds of people a wholly disproportionate view of the value of objects. “A very small object held before the eye will shut out the light of the sun.”” “By the blinding influence of passion and vice.” Stand in His grace, WOS |

50 | Does God have wings? | Bible general Archive 2 | Wild Olive Shoot | 150238
So is God Black? White? Hispanic? Oriental? Does God look like the infant born without legs? Does God look like a man at 20 years of age or a man of 90 years? My point is this: We were made in His likeness yes, but not just like Him. We know not what God truly looks like. His word is not clear and as a matter of fact, at least two tried so fervently to explain what God looks like and still only ended up with somewhat vague descriptions. Ezekiel 1:26-28 and Revelation 1:14-16 God is indescribable. Any physical form we try to attach to God is only speculative. I would add this though: I bet God looks like Jesus. WOS |

Danny, The text being referred (Genesis 1:26) actually states “let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…” It is pluralized for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We know from Psalm 104:30 that the Spirit was present at creation and we also know from Colossians 1:16 that Christ was present. We are made in the image, to the likeness of all three or the three as one. Since God has no physical body, this implies simply that we are reflections of His glory. He actually gave us the ability to reflect His character. You are right when you say the more we know about Him the better we can praise and worship Him. But what does His appearance have to do with that. We worship and praise God for who He is, not what He looks like. And yes God wants to be known. Know Him by reading His Word. Don’t add anything to it. Don’t take anything away from it. Don’t twist God’s Word to fit your life, twist your life to fit God’s word. WOS |

Following are only a few of the more recent cases. Now I am fairly new to the forum and have taken to heart many of the inspiring and forthright answers and notes rendered and believe me they have helped and in many ways, and others as well, as I am able to convey the thoughts collected on this forum to others. I believe in being harsh when required and appropriate in order to convey a point when correcting and edifying, but when posts can be taken as demeaning, don’t we risk turning some away from searching for the truth in God’s word? I’m a little more persistent than most, but should I have not been, and received answers similar to those posted below, I know I would have shied away from furthering my knowledge in this forum. Now I’m including some of those, knowing full and well, to be expecting the backlash. But I’m doing it because it seems the thing to do, and because you asked. I mean no offense by picking those below, just showing examples. Maybe I’m being too critical and sensitive. If so, please tell me so and forgive me and I’ll not mention it again. But my questions still stand. Like I mentioned in my previous post, we are all not Scholars and some need to be taught truth per Scripture but effectively doing so would not include demeaning replies. I believe that is one of the premises this forum functions on and I’m so thankful it does. WOS What about the Forum "experts" who are not only amateurs but armatures as well? In electricity, an armature is the rotating part of a dynamo. Forum armatures rotate, i.e, go around in circles, all the time. An armature is also defined as the moving part of an electromagnetic device, such as a buzzer or loudspeaker. Forum armatures also buzz and speak loudly. ..... In biology, an armature is a protective covering, such as teeth, claws, thorns, or the shell of a turtle. Forum armatures will bite and claw you if you challenge them, and if you ask them for scriptural proof of their wild musings, they will hide in their shell like a turtle. isn't incredible that there are people calling themselves Christians whose spiritual discernment is so dim and Bible knowledge so limited that they fall for the absurd blunders of theological dunderheads Duh,… I thought everbody knowed heresy was chocolate candy. My daddy he used to buy me a Heresy Bar as a treat for being good, which warn't very often. So she has seen a seven-foot angel? I wonder how she goes about measuring angels I would have thought that an idea like that would be discussed as a philosophy, among those who have no respect for the scriptures. Kalos, Thank you for your response. But it seems you have digressed, as I don’t believe the article you posted answered my original questions or I do not understand fully what you are trying to get across. “So my question(s) is this, why do some feel it acceptable to ridicule those who are weak in the faith and why do others condone it instead of pointing it out? Could it not be detrimental to another brother who is weak and is looking for encouragement from other Christians”? However, the article you posted I think may be in reference to an earlier post of mine concerning the vehicles God uses to convey His Word. Am I right on that? I do not disagree with anything the article stated. My point, and maybe I failed to properly convey my thoughts, which I’ve found I often do, was not that God fails to be heard. Simply that we may at first fail to recognize that it is God speaking. One of the examples I used was of Samuel and Eli when the Lord spoke to Samuel and Samuel failed to recognize that it was the Lord speaking to him until Eli informed him of who it actually was. (1 Samuel 3:1-10) The Lord was still heard, and truly when He speaks He is heard, no matter our position, but in our finite minds, sometimes we fail to recognize it. But God established and knew His Word would be conveyed and the vehicle used was Eli in this instance. As is the point with misinterpreted Scripture, God does not fail to be heard, we fail to hear or understand and yes, there are those who simply refuse to respond or obey. God is sovereign and therefore I put know limitation or constraints on God Almighty. He speaks however He wishes and whatever He wills it be done. But as I stated previously, this doesn’t necessarily respond to my original question in this thread, or I’m simply failing to see the correlation. Can you please elaborate somewhat further so that I may understand the reason for taking this particular path? WOS |

To all: After seeing what I have seen today, (the defense of homosexuality) I sincerely revoke my premature accusations of some participants being too harsh. I now truly see there are those who wish to only debate and twist the Word and they force some to become harsh and risk ultimately harming those truly seeking guidance and truth and knowledge. Take the bad with the good I guess. If I have offended anyone with the statements I made yesterday, I am truly sorry and I will make it my business to mind my own business and let harshness beget harshness. Truly mystifying what some do to the word of God. My prayers go out for you. In Christ WOS. |

Javelin, Just a question if I may... You said: "You can preach as you say til the cows come home and no one will listen unless what you say can be proven." Where does faith fit into your line of reasoning? Hebrews 11 1NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. 2For by [faith--trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. 3By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible. I agree there are valid questions that should be answered, but why the need rule out the use of Scripture? Javelin stated in post #154487: “Using the bible to prove God's existence is circular reasoning.” That would indicate that it is futile to use the Bible to prove God’s existence and I disagree with that. I don’t dissuade the use of extra-biblical material in answering valid questions so long as their sources are validated by the God-inspired scriptures. You seem to hold Paul’s epistles in high regard, so let us look at what Paul wrote concerning the subject. A look into 1 Corinthians 1 (vs 20-23 specifically) shows us that Paul, when preaching, in fact preached Christ crucified. 20Where is the wise man (the philosopher)? Where is the scribe (the scholar)? Where is the investigator (the logician, the debater) of this present time and age? Has not God shown up the nonsense and the folly of this world's wisdom? 21For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive and recognize and know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him). 22For while Jews [demandingly] ask for signs and miracles and Greeks pursue philosophy and wisdom, 23We preach Christ (the Messiah) crucified, [preaching which] to the Jews is a scandal and an offensive stumbling block [that springs a snare or trap], and to the Gentiles it is absurd and utterly unphilosophical nonsense. Where in fact do we learn the truth about Christ’s crucifixion and what it means to us? That would be the Bible. Why did Paul in all his godly wisdom choose to preach this way? Matthew Henry explains it this way: “Paul had been bred up in Jewish learning; but the plain preaching of a crucified Jesus, was more powerful than all the oratory and philosophy of the heathen world. This is the sum and substance of the gospel. Christ crucified is the foundation of all our hopes, the fountain of all our joys. And by his death we live. The preaching of salvation for lost sinners by the sufferings and death of the Son of God, if explained and faithfully applied, appears foolishness to those in the way to destruction. The sensual, the covetous, the proud, and ambitious, alike see that the gospel opposes their favourite pursuits. But those who receive the gospel, and are enlightened by the Spirit of God, see more of God's wisdom and power in the doctrine of Christ crucified, than in all his other works. God left a great part of the world to follow the dictates of man's boasted reason, and the event has shown that human wisdom is folly, and is unable to find or retain the knowledge of God as the Creator. It pleased him, by the foolishness of preaching, to save them that believe. By the foolishness of preaching; not by what could justly be called foolish preaching. But the thing preached was foolishness to wordly-wise men. The gospel ever was, and ever will be, foolishness to all in the road to destruction. The message of Christ, plainly delivered, ever has been a sure touchstone by which men may learn what road they are travelling. But the despised doctrine of salvation by faith in a crucified Saviour, God in human nature, purchasing the church with his own blood, to save multitudes, even all that believe, from ignorance, delusion, and vice, has been blessed in every age. And the weakest instruments God uses, are stronger in their effects, than the strongest men can use. Not that there is foolishness or weakness in God, but what men consider as such, overcomes all their admired wisdom and strength.” John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me. When we witness, we need to witness Christ, who leads to God. Man has a funny way of making God become anything he wants Him to become, to satisfy his own mind. In pointing the lost to Christ, they’ll come to the Father in the way of proper understanding the way they need to. You must have faith in Christ to begin that journey. We have a true eyewitness account of our Lord given by the Gospels, the Bible. I also disagree that faith completes our journey to salvation. Our journey is complete when we are glorified with Christ when He returns. When that happens, I’ll no longer need faith, for then, I will see Him face to face. WOS |

2Fedex, No criticism. I promise. I would just like to point out a couple of things to you, if I may, in response to your post to humbledbyhisgrace since it will follow up my response to you earlier also. You said: “but we must not discount people too quickly when they ask questions that require physical proof(Jesus certainly didn't seem terribly offended by the Apostles wanting to touch Him)” John 20:29 Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on Me. See, we weren’t going to get the hands on proof (and didn’t get it) that the disciples were privileged to receive. But we did get the Holy Spirit and Scriptures. You also state: “but how can a person who is apparently lost and without the Holy Spirit to illuminate them know what a particular verse means?” Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. We can’t give anyone the Holy Spirit we can only point them to the Scriptures. And then you stated: “God knows our hearts and can and will provide all we need to have faith.” Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. We need faith. That’s why I asked where faith fit into a certain line of reasoning. Without faith why would anyone believe? And where can we get that faith? We get it from God through hearing His message. That’s why I know that the Bible can be used to prove God’s existence to someone who does not believe, because it contains God’s message to us and we cannot concoct anything better than that. If we are seeking the truth, we’ll find it in Christ. We’ll find the eyewitness accounts of Christ in the Bible. Luke 11:9,10: 9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. My point is this: If one is truly and honestly seeking the truth, they’ll find it in Scripture. We can only lead them that far and then God will do the rest. That's all I wanted to point out. In love WOS |

I think one of the greater proofs of God’s existence is the display of great opposition to it. How can one oppose that which does not exist? The greatest proof however, is Jesus himself and the eyewitness accounts of Him and who He was that we have in our Holy Scripture that have endured every argument that man could raise against them and survived every attempt made to break them. Add to that our conscience of knowing right and wrong and the proof continues to mount. God has revealed Himself to every man. The rejection of those who refuse to see or submit to the evidence that God has provided is proof in itself. I believe it is a “belief or a concept” that there is no God out of blatant refusal to identify with God, not that evidence and proof is lacking but rather faith is lacking. Therefore, for man to prove God’s existence, there must first be an establishment of faith in God within the one in which you are attempting to prove God’s existence. The evidence or proof is not lacking rather it is rejected and consequently, that very faith is a gift from the same God who has been rejected and in whom there is no belief and therefore faith is withheld. One who sees the truths of God’s existence and willfully denies them has no faith. There is nothing that man can do to convince him otherwise. But that doesn’t mean the proof is lacking. It simply shows our ignorance in accepting the truth. The proof is there, the very message of God is among us. Prior to that God walked among us. What more proof can one need? WOS |
