Vince, Mark has offered you about as solid a scriptural support for the voracity of Gods Word as can be given. Check out 2 Timothy 3:16,17. Guess what? It's God's Word wheather anyone believes it or not. Where's the evidence that it's not? Plenty of evidence that it is. How about it? In Christ, lionheart |

44 | What say you? | Mal 3:10 | lionheart | 166587
drtbloor, How is it that as you say even though we still sin that we live in a state of sinlessnes? This seems to be somewhat of a misnomer. I know and understand that the Christ in us ( Col 1:27) does not sin,we do. How can we say we live in a state of sinlessness when we blow it on a daily basis. 1 John 1:5-10 We dont choose to stay in our sin we can must repent. What say you? |

49 | Inspiration of the Spirit. | Matt 11:28 | lionheart | 164983
Doc, In lite of scriptures like 2 Tmothy 2:15,2 Peter 1:20 2 Timothy 3:16,17 How does one interpret under the inspiration of the Spirit? I know we pray and ask Gods guidance and direction as we study His Word and I've been truly inspired on more ocassions than I can remember. I wont point any fingers here cause I'd be pointing three right back at myself. I think sometimes people will use inspiration or revalation of Gods Spirit to go in directions that go contrary to His Word. Set me straight here if I'm off the beam. In Christ, lionheart |

53 | Special needs,poor and needy? | Mark | lionheart | 175014
Good Day brothers and sisters, I will try and be as brief and to the point as possible with this. I need your help and advise on this. A sister and I are starting a special needs ministry within our fellowship. Specificely an outreach to those within the church as well as outside. Those dealing with chronic issues be they mental, physical, emotional or spiritual. Her and I happen to fall into this spectrum. Our goal is to to reach out to and encourage these individuals as well as educate people. We've already began to see fruit and it is our desire to see God move in this. My request is this, any scriptures and or resources regarding this subject and ministering to the poor and needy will be much appreciated. YBIC, lionheart |

54 | Under the law?No. | Mark 7:19 | lionheart | 164358
Luke, Greetings brother. There is no argument that we are no longer under the law nor are we bound by it. But I gotta ask and please Luke take this with the heart inwhich it is intended, In rererence to Romans 15:4 did the principle and morality taught in the OT go away? Always your brother in Christ, lionheart |

56 | Age of accountability? | Luke 2:42 | lionheart | 156637
Greetings my brothers and sisters, This is a subject that has been dicussed and debated in the past. There have been a number of questions centering around the age of accountability. This is something that comes at different and varying points for people. There may not be one standard pat answer for this, but I've found that the Word will always give us a solid benchmark or starting point for the things that we may encounter. Part of jewish tradition was confirming children as adults at age 12,this is something that Jesus even went through. I think this bares looking at,What do all of you think? In Christ, lionheart |

58 | Gods Spirit manifested in our lives? | John 3:16 | lionheart | 149757
Thanx Mark, I see what you are saying and it makes sense.Let me approach the subject from aanother angle then. Mind you,I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just trying to gain a clearer perspective and a better understanding of all of this. Might we be speaking of how Gods spirit works and contiually manifests himself in our daily lives?I think that at times this is where the christiam community as a whole is at it's weakest and where we have the least amount of understanding. This has been a bone of contention among believers more times than I can remember. This is a real power source for Gods people but it seams like we keep comming up a little bit short where this area of our walk with God is concerned. God bless you, lionheart |

59 | What say we? | John 3:16 | lionheart | 149760
My brothers, Here's some food for thought.I think we would all agree that feelings and experience are no gaurantee in and of themselves for truth. They are things that God has given us and are part of what makes us who we are. I heard this from a Pastor a number of years ago about someones experience with Holy Spirit and please bear with me here as this at best a rough paraphrase at best as it's been quite some time since I heard this.I'll put this in the form af a question- Someone speaks of The Holy Spirit doing something in thier life and we dont see where it has any scriptural standing but it doesnt contradict anytthing God has already established in the bible. What say we to this? I love you guys, lionheart |

60 | Jesus,two natures? | John 4:24 | lionheart | 163735
Mark, Goodmorning brother. This is strictly for clarification on my part,so I dont wind up sticking my foot in my mouth.I know that we deal with two natures the Christ in us and our old man,I know that Christ was tempted in every manner that we are. I know that the bible says that he became sin who knew no sin.I understand that. Could you clarify a little what we refer to when someone speeks Jesus and two natures? I want to make sure I'm not out in the twilight zone with this one. In Christ, lionheart |
