241 | Inhabitants of kingdom on earth | Rev 20:4 | Robert Nicholson | 30139
Dear brother: During the great tribulation God will turn again to Israel nationally and a great number will be saved Rev. 7 4-8. In addition we read "I beheld and lo a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues stood before the throne, and before the lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands. V13 "And one of the elders answered me saying "what are these arrayed in white robes? from whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have wash their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" Rev: 7 14 We know that according 2 Thess 1 that at the end of the great tribulation the Lord Jesus is coming in great power and in glory. "in flaming fire taken vengence on them who obeyed not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. During his coming we know that the saints of the age of grace will be rasied and changed in caught up to him. 1Thess. 4 and we will return with him. He will set up his throne and those who are alive on the earth will be judged. There will be those who are saved Rev. 7 who will go into his earthly kingdom and those who will be damned because they rejected him. I believe that the people who go into God's earthly kingdom are both Jew and Gentile. This just not suggest a second chance for those who reject the gospel now. But explains in part what may happen to those who in this day of grace have never heard the gospel and never rejected Christ. I believe that Rev.7:9 is a clear verse that shows that there will be those who did not receive the mark of the beast. The sad thing for those who have rejected Christ during this day of grace that "God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie; that they might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Peace in our risen Lord Robert |

242 | Will unbelievers be raised from Sheol? | Rev 21:8 | Robert Nicholson | 31794
Curtnsally: Amen on your post. We must remember that God's holiness is such that he must judge all sin. If we refuse the substitutionary work of Christ on the cross, such a choice will separate us from God for all eternity and we will suffer for our own sin. According to Rev. 20:11-15 no Christ rejector can escape facing judgment at the Great White Throne. "I saw the dead small and great stand before God..."V12 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire, this is the second death. It is the "dead" which are in view here, not those who are alive in Christ eternally. It is a solumn truth from which many wish were untrue. The sad thing is "what we think" does not change the truth. In view of this, is it any wonder that we implore our fellow travellers to eternity to come to Christ for forgiveness and life? We will only end up in a lost eternity if we choose to go there. |

244 | Is God's Word Complete ? | Rev 22:18 | Robert Nicholson | 32976
Brother you are correct. Human nature is much like the people to whom Paul preached at Mars Hill, who spent their time wanting to hear or tell some new thing. Another verse which reflects the same idea is about those "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."1 Tim. 3:7 It seems as humans we follow into the trap of Satan in wanting to be "wise" in our own intellect apart from what God has given us. I have total confidence in God and his Holy Word. He took such care by his Spirit to give us all things we stand in need of. In addition to all of that, he has preserved his word even though it has been banned, burned, at times perverted by translation; despite all of this we still have the message clear and plain.
