21 | What is the correct procedure for going | Ephesians | Ken hepting | 101319
[If you are in Christ you have been delivered from the world and into the kingdom of God. You are not free from trials (at times very severe trials) but you have been freed to struggle against sin and temptation.] If, if..... If, doesn't become a "seal of completion" until I have overcome...the evil one. Meaning, "if" I believe in Christ my battle/journey is just beginning....ergo, my wilderness experience; my opportunity to reveal my allegiance to Father as He did then the above [from Reformer] is made real and effective. |

Ephes. 4:1-4 (NASB) I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, [2] with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, [3] being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; I pure piece of encouragement from one born again kingdom dweller to another. |

25 | How do you "share the Gospel?" | Matt 28:18 | Ken hepting | 101310
I understand and agree. "Agape" is what I'm after in any reference to God. I apologize for not being more clear on that. I have learned that to be almost a geographical kind of thing, i.e., Agape-Kingdom of God-abiding, experience. Step out of it, and you're own yer own...back in the flesh, but not unto death..but for correction and adminishion. Stay in it and stay in the mind of Christ to ".....be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Cor. 15:58 (NASB) The kingdom is where the "Rest" is. Hebrews 4:10 (NASB) For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His. Let's hear more, Ray. Ken |

26 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | Ken hepting | 101299
[Adam would have grown old ... he was aging, since man is noted by time.] I agree with you, though I didn't see it that way until recently.[I really didn't think anout it much] But having seen that in that light supports my belief that Adam was intended to be our role model, reaching a point in time when God would have transfigured him. I know that raises another question, "what about Christ". I can believe Adam would have been the "Word" made flesh. Your thoughts? |

28 | Why did Adam grow old? | Gen 1:27 | Ken hepting | 101210
Why not? God was after a human family, wasn't He? What did Lucifer have to do with it? I would guess it was because of Lucifer that He did.

What's that to you!?... And forget I asked anything. I don't need your response. If fact, don't want it, now. |

Ephes. 1:15 (KJV) Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Philip. 1:25 (KJV) And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith; Philip. 2:17 (KJV) Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. Col. 1:4 (KJV) Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, Col. 1:9 (KJV) For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; Col. 2:5 (KJV) For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. Col. 2:7 (KJV) Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 1 Thes. 1:3 (KJV) Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; 1 Thes. 1:8 (KJV) For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. 1 Thes. 3:2 (KJV) And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith: 1 Thes. 3:5-7 (KJV) For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain. [6] But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also to see you: [7] Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith: 1 Thes. 3:10 (KJV) Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith? 2 Thes. 1:3 (KJV) We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; 2 Thes. 1:11 (KJV) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 2 Tim. 1:5 (KJV) When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. Philemon 1:6 (KJV) That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. James 1:3 (KJV) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James 2:1 (KJV) My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. James 2:18 (KJV) Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 1 Peter 1:7 (KJV) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 1 Peter 1:9 (KJV) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:21 (KJV) Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 1 Peter 5:9 (KJV) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 2 Peter 1:5 (KJV) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 3 John 1:5 (KJV) Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them." Matthew 9:22 (KJV) But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. Matthew 9:29 (KJV) Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Matthew 15:28 (KJV) Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Matthew 17:20 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 18:8-9 (KJV) Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. [9] And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Mark 5:34 (KJV) And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Mark 9:43 (KJV) And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Mark 9:45 (KJV) And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Mark 9:47 (KJV) And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Mark 10:52 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. Luke 7:50 (KJV) And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. Luke 8:25 (KJV) And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. Luke 8:48 (KJV) And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. Luke 17:19 (KJV) And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Luke 18:42 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. Luke 22:32 (KJV) But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. John 16:1 (KJV) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. Romans 1:8 (KJV) First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 11:20 (KJV) Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: Romans 15:13 (KJV) Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. 1 Cor. 2:5 (KJV) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Cor. 3:1 (KJV) And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 1 Cor. 15:1 (KJV) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1 Cor. 15:14 (KJV) And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 1 Cor. 15:17 (KJV) And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 1 Cor. 15:58 (KJV) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 2 Cor. 1:24 (KJV) Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand. 2 Cor. 8:7 (KJV) Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. 2 Cor. 10:15 (KJV) Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly, Continued...... |

34 | The Substitute! | 1 John 2:2 | Ken hepting | 101130
I don't believe mom's verse she offers has to do with salvation unto eternal life, Justification, but more becoming unto Father that which Jesus modeled for us, i.e., Sanctfication. 10:9? "if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;" Confessing Him with the mouth is a given but the connotation seems to be that it must be an on going demonstration of Christ in ones life. Perserverance needed here [see Peter.] Ephesians 2:8-10? "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Saved to be saved. We have examples of people being healed by Christ [coming to Him] because of their own faith..in what they have come to believe He can do. Here is a list of ref. concerning faith. It is a mixture of verses that speak of the person's own faith and the faith of Christ that is within others mentioned. It's easy to mistake both faith's as being one and in a sense they are. But with careful exegesis it can seen that there are distinctions that are clearly there that they be one or the other when all of scripture pertaining to salvation and then becoming a son context is observed/retained. An example would be the "faith as a grain of mustard seed". Its clear me that that speaks of His faith [His faith equals the mind and power of God], not mine. So now if we read it that way it makes sense. My faith would be only "soul power", an excercise in conjurying. Christ Jesus IS the FAITH that Paul lived by, not his own. His own faith was just stayed on Christ. Christ did all the rest. A "mustard seeds" worth was more than enough. Continued..... |

35 | An Arminian Consensus in the Forum? | 1 John 2:2 | Ken hepting | 101114
[If you think it is incomplete, I am afraid you are trying to add to grace and therefore you don’t understand what I was saying in the first place because the Lord hasn’t revealed it to you yet, and that’s not my responsibility but the work of the Holy Spirit.] [mumblying to myself]...another who can't read. |

[The Holy Spirit came upon them (Acts 2:3), filled them (Acts 2:4), and baptized them (Acts 1:5). How could they not have been indwelt at that time?] They had to be...they were before hand. John 20.22, remember? |

38 | how can i get the powers of the holy spi | NT general Archive 1 | Ken hepting | 101091
Acts 2:3 (NASB) And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested ON EACH ONE OF THEM. Acts 19:6 (NASB) And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came ON THEM, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. Acts 11:15 (NASB) "And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit FELL UPON them, just as He did upon us at the beginning. No "indwelling", here. |

[Now I repeat: 1 Cor. 12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. If this isn't baptism with the Holy Spirit, then what is it?] The baptism into the Body of Christ. It is NOT the baptism of Acts 2 but rather John 20.22. |

40 | how can i get the powers of the holy spi | NT general Archive 1 | Ken hepting | 101088
No...How can that be when He said to them "RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT". Nowhere is it written that that was symbolism. To the contrary that was the first time anyone was "Born Again"; The "indwelling" took place at that momment. Acts 2 was the "Coming upon" of the Holy Spirit; the receiving of the "priestly garment" typified in Ezek. 44; the "Promise of the Father"; the "Paraclete-Another Helper-Comforter" spoken of by Jesus. Again I ask you, What were the instructions given in Acts chapter 1? And wasn't it spoken to those who were ALREADY INDWELT by the Holy Spirit? In case you didn't realize it there are Three manifestions of the Holy Spirit. |
