sonlight: Just because you have not heard or read Hagin not put anyone else down is no reason to assume anything. Have you ever seen him support Billy Graham, or any Orthodoc Christian grout? No and you won't either. Hagin, Copeland, Hinn, Hicky and a host of others in the WOF are false teachers. If someone so desires to follow these people than that's their choice. But when these people give false prophecies, what do you say then? Hinn said Jesus would be on the satge with him and it did not come to be, that is a false prophet. The rest have done the same. What more do you need? justme |

sonlight: I am indeed devoted to ring the alarm whenever there false teaching, fabrications, fantasies, and frauds, and such are the ministers like Hahin, Copland, Hinn, Hicky, Myers just to name a few. It is irresponsible to sit qiuetly by and allow such apostasy to be taught and not warn that their teaching is false. No ministry is perfect i agree, but no ministry is valid when the teaching is not in line with Scripture. There is no room to help those who are in direct opposition to scriptual teaching. When a false teacher trys to convience the nieve that they too can live a live of health and wealth, when NO WHERE IN SCRIPTURE does it say that that is bankrupting peoples faith. Benny Hinn said Jesus would stand in the flesh next to him. Jesus did not! Hinn said all homosexuals would die in Gods judgement by 1998. That did not happen. Hinn continues to predict things that never happen, and he says he is speaking for the Holy Spirit! My goodness when do we say he is a false teacher? Because my ministry has not been charged with unscriptual teaching nor have I ever subjected my flock to fleecing; I think your question about the fruit of my ministry is uncalled for. I can assure I have has more solid Biblical education than these false teachers. I can say I know what it is to minister to the very poor in this worlds goods. I never drove the outlandish expensive automobiles that these WOF teachers need to drive. I might ask you as I have many others are you wealthy? I do mean money wise. These false teachers of WOF have promised this over and over and it just does not work! With the differences these WOF teachers is not compatable with true Christianity. I have great sympathy with the inmature Christians who get involved with WOF because of ignorance of the Scriptures. justme |

Hank: WOF is pure and simple an open hole for those walking with little or no light to fall into. I know it is fruitless to try to dialogue with a devoted WOFer, but perhaps it might get someone be cautious when they hear some of these false teachers names again. Blessings Hank! justme |

EdB: It is my belief that WOF represents the greatest threat to true Christianity, and new believers especially. I know there are genuine believers in Christ traped in the counterfeit WOF. Thank you for your note. Blessings. justme3 |

186 | Why has the Bible not been added to? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 108659
context: Please excuse me for barging in. Could you please give evidence for your statements. These statements are absurd, and I am sure you misread or do not believe the Scripture, which is it? Might I suggest you get a pen and paper and reread the 4 Gospels and You can put your thoughts in "context"! justme |

EdB: This has a very fimular ring, and I think you may well be right about the idenity change. Perhaps it's a personality change? Most would say Mark was the one who took off naked. Jesus hinmself called Luke, this is some wild uneducated person who knows how to type and spell. At least I have som "learning", I may not spell at the top of my class but I know when I am right! Just ask me! Blessings Ed. justme |

EdB:-( I believe the saying cane about a man who had been cheated on by his wife. Basicly it says that nothing can calm down a mans anger. However what hurts a husband often is felt by the wife 100 times more. Either way to be sensitive to each other and to put the other mate first is a better thing to keep in mind, then we do not have to keep the other in mind. Blessings EdB! justme |

190 | Why don't we address God as Yahweh? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 112291
Rowdy: Blessings friend. I am in question of "As long as we do so with proper reverance and respect, I'm certian He will treat us the same." Some how this does not sound right to me. I suppose I am thinking this is a pretty wide and inclusive statement. I can think of some names that are related to God but not a name I find Scriptual support for. I am a stickler for Scriptual backing as you might know. So...could you give me a Scripture to back your statement? I appreciate your patients with a old person as old as dirt. Blessings. justme |

192 | Why don't we address God as Yahweh? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 112305
Kalos: Thank you for your kind response. We are in TOTAL agreement! I often address The LORD Almighty as Holy Father. I beleive there is more Scriptual evidence for this than just GOD. I am not being disrespectful when I say this by anymeans. I simply believe I want to be as clost to the "I am" as possible. I know few issues that are repeated 7,000 times in Scripture, The Jerusalem Bible uses Yahweh in the Old Testament, and I enjoy reading it on occasion, just for that reason. Blessings. justme |

Rowdy: Thank you for suck a kind response. Often it is easier to say the Scriptures say thuss and so, than o actually dig and find the passage. I know because I am guilty of this often myself. Psalm 148:13 and 14 sum it up very well. That the entire universe is summoned to praise the LORD Almighty. We are sure that the LORD told Moses He was "I AM". Jesus refered to the LORD as "Holy Father". I am concerned when I hear it said "God is my friend or close buddy". That to me is way out of line any not in accord with Scripture. There suould be a deep desire to show not only respect but a Holy awareness that we are addressing the Higest of any thing we will ever have the privledge to address. I have always wanted to just see a President of the united States. I would consider that to be a real exciting moment. I would especially like to see President Jimmy Carter. I respect his office, but even more his Christian efforts after leaving the office. As a retired Navy person I can relate to your experience as a retired Military person. Which I say thank you for serving our country. Perhaps you can relate to me wanting to see a President/ If I would feel so privledged to see President Carter, how much more to address our Holy Father! That Rodwy is where I am coming from. Thank you for allowing me to dialogue with you on this very important issue. Blessings brother Rowdy. justme |

195 | 700 Club supports Benny Hinn! How ? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 117299
Hank: I often wonder if the L1011 Plane he was going to use as a flying hospital ever left the ground? These grandious projects that challenge even the United States Government, in the ability to help people, are a failure waiting to happen. Yet "true believers" faith is in question unless they step out in faith. Say Hank, remember Herritage USA and the resort and theme park? Ther is an example of sowing for the almighty dollar and reaping of very sad lives of heart ache and pain. Tammy has terminal lung cancer. Very sad to see how poeple end up when sin takes over as the voice people listen to. Blessings Hank. justme |

CDBJ:I Read you responses to FytRobert. Between reading this thread and just responding to a person who made a referal to me to look up such and such a number, rather than either giving me a respectful kind response, or just letting someone else answer the question, I feel quite discouraged! Where "for crying outloud" is the Christian love and kindness gone? Is everyone so loaded up with hostiality that Christian love has become hard to show oneanother? I have seldom been this foward about my feelings. Perhaps we need to be a LOT MORE LOVING and understanding than so sharp with the keyboard. Blessings CDBJ. justme |

CDBJ: No, not cash it in! I have found that in my Christian walk there have been time that things have worn me to a frazel. Perhaps, but I don't imagine so, I feel like I am the only one that gets down. We all go into times that we don't seen to communicate what we realy want to say. Now to as you being Rebecca from Sunny Brook farms, none of us are either! However none of the rest of you have the joy of living next to Lake Of The Ozarks in Missouri, so I don't expect the same kind of enviormential happiness as we have here. CDBJ we all have the naturanature of a sinful person, and yest we all are really very small in God's eyes, but we ane not nothing to the LORD or He would not have sent His SON to rsave us. We do indeed have grate value to the LORD. Thank you for your kind respectful response, may God Bless you! justme |

198 | What is your take on Westcott and Hort? | Bible general Archive 2 | justme | 124471
Mark: Thank you for your thoughts. I have lived long enough to see numbers of Christians make utter fools of of themselfs and shame the cause of Christ. One of the longest running lies, that just won't die, is that the FCC has a bill in Congress to remove all Christian Radio stations, and we are to sign the patition and send it to the FCC. The truth is that even today this stupidity refuses to die! The US Government spends more than you would believe every year to just open these letters from "those who choose to remain ignorant" Christians. Nearly every Christian magizine has at some time rebuffed this to help stop this stupidty. All has failed in the nearly 30 years this has gone from church to church. Protor and Gamble nearly went bankrupt because of Christians reacting to ignorant people saying to boycott their products because the symbol of stars and the moon were gossiped to be a sign related to witchcraft. This is utter nonsense! Then there is the lie made up to make the Bible sound more believable. That JPL had with the help of NASA found the missing day in the Old Testament where the sun stood still. Again, this has been and continues to be circulated. Why do Christians seem to make fools of thenselves in spreading such ignorant garbage? I in no way appologize for my statements about ignorance and those who refuse to believe the truth when it smacks them in the face, and then choose to believe a lie. Yes I have an attitude when the a lie is choosen over the truth. In the nearly three years I have been involved with this Forum I don't recall anyone saying I had personally called them a name. I most certianly believe in calling sin a sin, and when someone askes for an answer to a question, I will be kind and respectfull to them. I expect the same in return. Now, I did not say you were ignorant, or that you choose to remain ignorant. If my words seem harsh it is because the harsh reality is that some Christians "choose to remain ignorant" and some Christians "refuse to see and believe the truth". Case in point, Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, Kenneth Haggen, Kenneth Copland, Joyce Meyer, just to name a few false teachers. I sincerely hope that you might gain more insight to where I am coming from. As to anyone who chooses to use the KJV, that is a wonderfully poetic translation. I grew up on it, I respect it, but I am adomit, that anyone who says a piticular version or translation is the one and only Bible that is the ture Bible then that is a sin to do so. I did not think that you were saying that. May I suggest that in my opinion that the battle of the Christian is to stand up for turth with the TRUTH, Jesus Christ. I prefer to focus on what we have in common, rather than take everything so very personal. Knowing Dr. James White, and his very solid Biblical based web site, I encourage you to write and ask him the question or call his office. I am sure you will be blessed. You might also contact Lockman Foundation and I believe at one time they too were accused of using this material, and cleared it up for me, if memory serves me well. Finally brother, never let anything anyone says in the forum become a way to get your temper up. Frankly there just is no reason to be mean. I never attack or call a person names, only the behavior. Blessings. justme |

Patts: Thank you for your response. Don't applaud my courage, as I have no strength other than what flows from the Holy Spirit in my weakness, to strengthen me. In the last year I have endured cancer and the radation treatments, and now this trial. I have learned by walking with my Lord that only by putting my faith in Him, and knowing that He is able to do more abundantly than I can imagine, that can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I am 41 years older than you and if I had not walked with Him and abided in His Word all these years I would not have the assurance I do. God bless you Patts. justme |
