181 | feelings in heaven | Rev 21:4 | EdB | 241296
This passage says there is no sorrow in heaven. I expect there will be expectation, as we await the arrival of loved ones. However since there isn't a sense of time it won't be a long wait. |

182 | is wearing jewelry leads to hell ? | Bible general | EdB | 241294
Jesus died on the cross. What sends us to hell is our refusal to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The motive for wearing Jewelry is far more telling than the jewelry itself. If we are wearing jewelry to flaunt our wealth then we have a problem in our heart as it is not set on Jesus. If we are wearing Jewelry to brighten our appearance or to signify we are engaged or married there isn't a problem. |

183 | Where does it mention the Sheehans? | Bible general | EdB | 241292
Sheehans is a disease as far as I know so I think you mean Shekinah Glory. The word shekinah does not appear in the Bible, but the concept clearly does. The Jewish rabbis coined this extra-biblical expression, a form of a Hebrew word that literally means "he caused to dwell," signifying that it was a divine visitation of the presence or dwelling of JEHOVAH God on this earth. The Shekinah was first evident when the Israelites set out from Succoth in their escape from Egypt. There it appeared as a cloudy pillar in the day and a fiery pillar by night: “After leaving Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the desert. By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people” (Exodus 13:20-22). Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/shekinah-glory.html#ixzz3EAjWVbFm |

184 | Jehovah's witnesses | Bible general | EdB | 241251
The Jehovah Witnesses are founded on a lie. Their Bible the New World Translation is not authentic. The JW will not reveal the people involved in the translation or which original manuscripts they used. However what is known is all the people associated with JW at the time were incapable of translating the NWT. Therefore it is simply a rewrite of the KJV with changes made to suit or conform to JW teaching. The biggest problem is John 1:1. Orthodox Christianity teaches Jesus was not a created being but was God. This is confirmed in John 1:1. However the JW teach that Jesus was a created being and changed John 1:1 to say he became God rather than He was God. Also JW do not believe in grace alone but insists works are needed to get you into heaven. They are very close to Christianity and that is why they are so dangerous. If they were miles apart it would be easy to see them for what they are. However since they are so close it is hard to distinguish between the truth and the lie. Jesus said He was the door through which we must pass to reach the Father. Orthodox Christianity's Jesus is God the Son the ever existent being that manifested Himself to man. Jehovah Witness's Jesus is a created being. Created in the minds of the JW leadership. Therefore not the true door way that leads to God eternal. There are many other problems with the JW belief system but I highlighted the most erroneous. I suggest you read Walter Martin's Kingdom of the Cults to get a full understanding of falsehoods of the JW. |

186 | Number of Parables Jesus used to teach | NT general | EdB | 241237
There was 37 unique parables used by Jesus. They were often repeated in one or more books of scripture, this occurred 19 times. So we have 37 parables occurring 56 times in scripture.
187 | how old Jesus was | Bible general | EdB | 241235
In the culture of the time a male wasn't considered mature enough to teach until he was 30 years old. This probably came from the Old Testament requirement that a priest was to be between 30-50 years old. Numbers 4:28 Therefore most believe Jesus was at least 30 years old when he started his ministry. We know his ministry was 3 years long. So that would make Jesus 33 when he was crucified, died and was resurrected. As for the year of his birth the problem is with our calendar that has changed many times. While our calendar is constructed to make the year after 1 BC the birth year of Jesus, in all likelihood Jesus was actually born 4 years sooner in 4BC. Again we have to rely on secular history to make this determination. And secular history because it is not inspired of God is often altered over time. As we see happening today in many of accounts of past recent history. |

191 | is the bible really came from GOD? | 2 Tim 3:16 | EdB | 241193
2 Timothy 3:16 (NASB) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; I came across a very wise saying which is fact is essence of faith. "There is nothing I can say or do that will convince you that scripture is given of God. However God has convinced me and God will convince you if you seek Him to answer your question." |

192 | were in the bible does it say satin is t | Bible general | EdB | 241187
Job 1:6-7 (NASB) 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it." To stand before God you have to access to heaven. Revelation 12:10 (NASB) 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. You can't accuse the saints unless you can go into the presence of God. It isn't until late in the End Times that we see Satan cast down to earth. |

193 | why did god put satin on earth with us | Bible general | EdB | 241181
God didn't put Satan anywhere. God created Satan and Satan rebelled. Satan has access to heaven and earth. Satan the accuser of the saints goes to heaven to accuse us. See the book of Job. Satan also roams the earth seeking who he can devour. God told Adam to keep/guard the garden. In this Adam failed and allowed Satan access to Eve who was deceived. Had Adam did as he was instructed Satan would not have had access to the garden or Eve. One day God will finally toss Satan out of Heaven and then eventually cast him into the lake of fire. |

194 | torment in hell annihilation in the lake | Rev 19:20 | EdB | 241179
You used a interesting term "is it possible that the beast and the false prophet are kept alive in a devouring fire in the lake of fire" No where in scripture is the Lake of Fire described as a devouring fire. In fact just the opposite, punishment like life in Christ is always described as eternal. Also Satan does not possess the power of life and death Christ does. So no it is not possible Satan kept the beast and false prophet alive. |

195 | I cant narrow it down that much sorry | NT general | EdB | 241177
Each of us is a unique personality. Therefore different things are important to each of us. So when we experience something each of us come away with different memories and different opinions on what happened and what is important and not. If we had four identical accounts it would be very suspicious. The fact that each narrative is slightly different proves that it wasn't a rehearse account but rather it represents what each saw and retold on his own. |

Many things are going on here first, God said the Ark was to be carried not transported on a cart drawn by donkey. David was doing his thing instead of God's. Uzzah decided to help God, help God didn't want or need. The Ark was sacred and David and children of Israel were treating it with familiarity and not respecting it. God got their attention in a big way. |
