1401 | Are we back to the absurd view...? | 2 Timothy | justme | 80922
Morant61: Tim, I can't express how upset I have let myself become when argueing this. I had to pray and see my view, was as I believed to be far above others ignorance. The Word spoke to me through Romans, and I saw my attude was wrong! I believe that part of Christian love for others is to be willing to listen (in the forums case read) carefully, and react slowly, with wisdon. I am still in the process of learning, but I can see of no other way to show kindness and respect for my brethern in Christ Jesus. I pray that my heart will be able to take attacks on my beliefs and turn then into the words that bring peace instead of strife. Someone, somewhere said, for those who want to believe there is more than enough evidence. For those that will not believe there never will be enough evidence. I pray I will can know the difference in people. Blessings and nice to hear from you. justme |

1402 | Are we back to the absurd view...? | 2 Timothy | justme | 80924
Radioman2: The posting of a note shows knowledge. The proof that knowledge has taken root is in the actions we take from that point on. I admit I fail, and I am sure I have ofended some on the Forum in the past. I pray to be more tolerant and kinder in the furture. Lets pray that we all can be more like Jesus. By the way, do they have a NASB is the only one Bible group yet? Thanks for your words of encouragement. justme |

1405 | Peace...? | 2 Tim 2:15 | justme | 121881
Zsuzsi:-) I am completely and utterly amazed. Your love for the Lord Jesus and wisdom and knowledge and being able to clearly express your your belief and theology is most unsual to say the least. For a Christian of age 16, I have only known of one other like you...that is my wife. You are a blessing and encouragement, and I am sure the Lord will use you with no doubt. Our daughter is a year older and she wants to be a Mid-wife Missionary. I am sure your parents must be as proud of you are we of our daughter. May I congradulate you on holding up your faith. Although I now more understand why you said and think as you do. I think you are to be encouraged and may God richly bless you as you serve Him now, and as you prepare for even greater service for Him. Thank you, and you have my respect and blessings. justme |

1406 | George Muller: Bible Reader | 2 Tim 2:15 | justme | 200573
Hank: Thank you for the information on that web sight! I found it to be amazing! I never cease to be amazed at the lives of Christians of the past. Muller is a giant whom I measure myself to be a pebble of sand on his big toe. I sometimes struggle to read the Scripture with the Daily Bread, yet Muller read the Bible so many times. I am humbled, and even ashamed of my pittilful excueses I give to the Holy Father. Often the suggested places to look for Christian information given in the SBF have been a real treasure, and your suggestion is great. Blessings brother hank! justme |

1407 | Oxford Study vs Oxford Annotated Bibles | 2 Tim 2:15 | justme | 204280
Hank: Greetings from the North Country. Just as a note Mid Western Seminary (SBC)in K.C. MO required students to use the Oxford Annotated Bible RSV. The newest NRSV is gender neutral same as the TNIV. I have all three and the TNIV is not out on the book shelf. We don't want anyone to even consider reading it. Look at those who give their approval of these versions and most are Neo-Orthodox in theology. By the way you all in Arkansas can stop sending us the rain clouds you don't want. Missouri just might float right past Arkansas if we get much more rain. However, the Ark I am building is almost complete. justme |

1408 | when did theologians understand 7's? | 2 Tim 2:15 | justme | 222725
vnctvblzn: Great question, I too agree with Brad. Is this a Christian school you are attending? I think you could say Moses understood the completeness in the number seven. I doubt this would fly with your teacher. Maybe others can help you better soon. Blessings. justme |

1409 | SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH | 2 Tim 2:15 | justme | 243625
EdB; yes many once solid Bible colleges and seminaries have fallen away from their first LOVE. The Seminary my wife and I went to , I graduated in 1989, is now one I can no longer support. This is heart braking. But this is also true for once solidly Biblically based Churches sad to say. I wonder if the falling away we see is not a strong indicator of Jesus return. I feel more in line with Historical Premillennialism. But time will tell if I live long enough. Blessings Ed. justem |

1412 | 'Greater things than these' faith | 2 Tim 2:21 | justme | 54678
karlos: Now you have it correct! Remember Even if I am wrong, there has to be a win win solution to it some how. I consider that Faith wothout works is dead. Therefore works is an action of faith. So works without faith is just plain work. Am I right? But faith by itself without Gos is only hope and if all we have is hope we are the most miserable peopel on earth. Do you follow me? agape, justme |

Iwas thinking it ment something like "Dah" or something like that. So Now I feel better. At times it seems i make too many mistakes and it urkes me, at my mistakes. Thanks. I do see a few others making some minor slip ups, so at least I don't feel quite alone. Blessings:-) agape, justme |

kalos: Oh boy, ug, uck, ee..gads, I think I have been calling you karlos! I am soooo sorry! Boy I feel really bad, and I apologise! Now between you and Hank being so professional in your grammer, I am so third gradeish! I shared with Hank I am struggling with many health problems. I am on over 32 perscriptions a day. One side effect is cognative slippage, that is a constant battle. I find this forum is a challange to me to keep growing in spiritually, and in this foreign language called English. I am blessed to have the challenges, that God has allowed me to prove me worthy of His special care. Thank you for your patients. agape :-) justme |

1416 | 'Greater things than these' faith | 2 Tim 2:21 | justme | 54775
kalos: You profile is very complete. I found through some real testing that Romans 8:28 to to 39 has been the glue that has kept me together on several times, and I an sure in the future. I often wonder why people dont fill out some information so we can know who we are talking with. I chose "justme" because I am one of many in the body of Christ, thats justme! agape:-) justme |

1418 | Is this a discussion group? | 2 Tim 2:23 | justme | 96422
Aixen7z4: Yes, hishows.com is all you say, but thers are less than 40 people who use it, and not too often. I have yet to find anyone on when I tried to make a note. I would say it is more of a post and perhaps someone might respond. I have never had a response after a couple of notes I posted. So each Forum serves it's own purpose. Would you not agree? justme |

1419 | How do we learn? | 2 Tim 2:23 | justme | 96423
Dairyleader5: You have a plan to find your answers that makes you very determined. I think some, rather than search out the truth, go to a Bible Forum, and ask a question. They get some answer, and that settles it for them. The problem is; is the answer Scriptural? What kind of Bible forum is it? I would dread getting an answer from a Morman or JW or WOF point of view. I don't know if I see much power in the churches, that I am fimular with. I do sometimes see power in the peoples lives who do attend. I am cautious at making blanket statements about the whole church or churches. I am not qualified to say what takes place in most or many churches, as my contact outside a few churches is very limited. I can say with great certianity that the Holy Spirit is active and at work in the lives of Christians today, to the extent we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. Would you argree? Blessings. justme |
