121 | The Forum -- Your Opinion? | Romans | serenetime | 30669
Hi farout, Yes, their have been many that have touched base with this forum, and like they said previously, some have come and gone, and some have stayed to interact, but I feel that it is so important that we all have an open mind with each other regarding interpretation of scripture. I have experienced some whom that if your interpretation is opposing to some, then it's like an all out war. We may not all agree, but at least if you claim something in the word, then I believe that it can be proven in scripture without all the outside opinions of comentaries and "Oh this is what my Pastor says". Because lets face it, man is not always correct in some cases. I agree that we need to be more spiritual in the way we interact with others, and I am very glad you're here. 122 | DELIVERANCE FROM HOMOSEXUALITY | Rom 1:27 | serenetime | 41954
Hey NRGRIMES, I am so glad you are here. Rom 1:18-31 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affectio KJV I hope I i have been a help. 124 | Ten Commandments obsolete? | Rom 10:4 | serenetime | 28653
Hi, I agree with Prestor John. Yes they have become obsolete only by MAN'S doing. Yes, Jesus says he came to fulfill the law, but Jesus stresses (TRULY) in Matt. 5:18, For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. I think that some may get confused with the statutes and ordinances which were given by the Levitical priesthood. The Ten commandments are divinely given by our Father in heaven. One example regarding the ordinances and statutes and how God really feels about them, is in Jer.7:21-24. In verse 22, it says, I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. verse 23, But this thing commanded I them, saying Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. verse 24, But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels, and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. It is clear that they didn't seek the guidance by our Father. The world feels they don't need him, or his Commandments of LOVE. This, Israel did often and look what happened many times by not Obeying God. But went straight to man, and it is still happening to some Christians and Israel today. And otherwise the world has completely forgotten God all together. They took the commandments out of the schools and off the courtroom walls. And took prayer out of the schools in the 1960's. So it's no wonder why. No where does it ever say in the word, Hey just throw them old things away, but if you just look around today, the women that are being raped and abused. Women have not won a case in public view. One of our supreme court judges of today Say, TAKE THOSE TEN COMMANDMENTS OFF THE WALL. After all, it was just a little pubic hair on your coke can, what's the problem? What does it matter now, I'm a supreme justice. What does it matter what she thinks at all. Our great black american women DISGRACED. Tell me there's justice at all. Ask Bill Clinton when he was still governor of Arkansas what his favorite song was, Me and Mrs.Jones. But it's behind me now, I play the saxophone. I always wanted to do a duet in the white house. You know her name, she's not no har-monica. A disgrace to ALL women. A disgrace to two men who swore upon the Bible to uphold all the rights of our citizens equally. Musicians sing about the degregation of women. The song about having an affair with a married woman, and is still a favorite today. But it says in Deuteronomy, Gather the family together and judge the rapist and send them back to me saith God to be JUDGED. Likewise also the murderer, and if we don't do these things that he has commanded us to do. That it will run rampant in the last days. Just look around. Now I ask you a question, and go out and ask as many as you can, for you to see, What is the greatest commandment of all? would be pleased to hear your answer, and survey says, Not too many at all. 125 | what does Roman 11:25 means? | Rom 11:25 | serenetime | 26914
thomaso, Very interesting scripture. because it starts off speaking in Rom.11:2,That God hath not cast away His people which he forknew. Verse 4, Here God is saying that he has reserved to himself seven thousand Men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Verse 5, Even now there is a remnant according to the election of Grace. Verse 7, What then, Israel has not obtained which he seeketh for, but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Verse 8, As it it written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear. Have they stumbled that they should fall God forbid, but through their fall salvation has come unto the Gentiles, Foreigners apart from Israel. But God has goodness and severity on them that fell. But toward thee, goodness if thou continue in His Goodness: otherwise you shall also be cut off. If them that fell continue not in unbelief, they can be graffed back in again. Verse 24, Now if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature (lineal descent) (wild as pertaining to the country, and fierce), and then were graffed in to a good olive tree which is contrary, opposing to nature, how much more shall these that fell being of the natural branches be graffed into their own olive tree. Verse 25, Her Paul does not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, he says don't ignore it, please understand it. Lest you should be wise in you own conceits; that this blindness (hardness and callousness) in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Fulness means in the greek means repletion or complete subjectively what fills (contents)(multitude) Gentiles is Ethnos in the Greek, meaning a race, a tribe, usually pagan, heathen, nation, people. Here it's talking about the ones that are saved by Grace unto salvation as I spoke of earlier in this post. Be come in means to enter, enter in, So while God has given the spirit of slumber to his that have fallen, Now it opens the door for the saving by Grace to the gentiles. Remember even now to this present time there is an election of Grace, for by Grace ye are saved unto salvation. This is a beautiful revelation if we truly understand it and truly see it with our eyes and truly hear with your ears. Thank you Jesus!!! In Love of the True Father and Blessings to you.... 126 | Why "servant"? | Rom 16:1 | serenetime | 26561
stobor, The translation I get in the original greek is #1249 is diakonos like you said, but it is translated as follows, to run on errands, an attendant, teacher and pastor. Technically a deacon or deaconess, minister, servant. So Pheobe was an attendant and teacher and helper to God's people in the church, and Paul commends her for it. Also in Mark 15:41 it says starting at verse 40, There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; 41 (Who also, when He was in Galilee, followed Him, and ministered unto Him;) and many other women which came up with Him unto Jerusalem. Here the word is minister #1247 diakoneo, It's comes from #1249, to be an attendant, i.e. wait upon (menially or as a host, friend or [fig.] teacher); technically to act as a deacon: (ad) minister (unto), serve, use the office as a deacon. So hear the word minister is translated back to the same meaning. But they were minstering to Jesus. Very Interesting. Jesus says we are free, and not in bondage so we do this because we love him and we desire to serve and minister, help, the people of God. I hope this helps. 127 | Explain Chapter 5 | 1 Corinthians | serenetime | 22155
Racersedge, I agree with all that I have heard. If this is found among the church and the church is allowing this to happen and continue on, what does that say. That they have become complacent to the activity and calous. So not only does the individuals involved need to repent, but the church members as well for allowing it to be among them. If not, this will lead into more and more allowances. This is a pretty strong sin in the church, and yes I agree, only when the church feels that true repentance has been made, but not only to them, but to Jesus most of all. They have to realize what they have done, and realize that IT IS WRONG. Everyone gave excellent scriptures to back up it all. The church is to be the bride of Christ. 128 | Are jews the wisest? | 1 Corinthians | serenetime | 28578
vkey, If you are speaking on being a Jew. A Jew is a resident of Jerusalem only. It is not a specific race, or ethnic background and never has been. In Jerusalem or in other cities all over the world speak many different languages. I'm from California, so I'm a Californian. Anyway on the day of Pentecost in Acts2:6, After being filled with the Holy Spirit in verse 4,the spirit gave them utterance in verse 5, And there were dwelling at Jerusalem (Jews), devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Verse 6, but heard them speak in their own language, in their own tongue from where they were born. So that's the story on being a Jew. Now as for the question on whether they are more wise than every other person on the earth is just not true. Look at what is going on over in that neck of the woods, let's not even touch that. Even if we were to say different ethnic backgrounds it still doesn't justify the color of the flesh, and different languages is spoken. Words are all the same just sounding different in translation. Unless someone's has achieved some cosmic language from outer space somewhere. But on this planet. Sorry. And maybe having a darker complexion attracts specific smart rays, waves from the sun and it goes to your brain. Sorry. Get my meaning? To elevate one self of them believing they are wise in this world, God says they are made foolish. Not my words, but God's. 1 Cor.1:19,20. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20) Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1 Cor. 2:1-4, And I brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2) For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3) And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of POWER. The only wisdom that is worth anything is the true wisdom of our Father in Heaven. 1Cor.2:10, But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the DEEP things of God. As In science, technology, war and in business, this wisdom of this world is also a gift of the Father in Heaven. And even it wasn't, all this is temporal and will pass away and come to nought. I remember so vivdly in the Ten Commandment when Charlton Heston (Moses) said to Pharoah, Let my Jews GO!! (uh, I mean People) Serenetime

130 | Can all be saved? | 1 Cor 5:5 | serenetime | 28287
Sandre, In 2 Peter 3:9 it says, the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsufferig to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Verse 10 but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. I am brought back to Judas in Matt.27:3-6 where yes he did betray Jesus but repented of his act and suffered the death. See anyone can be saved, it takes a change of heart whether it be Judas or anyone. In Luke 22:3 it says that Satan had entered into Judas, but even though Judas repented and therefore he was saved. No matter what we have done and where we have been we all can have salvation through Jesus Christ. God is no respecter of persons. I hope this has been helpful. Serenetime
131 | Man, woman take on sins of each other | 1 Cor 6:16 | serenetime | 27704
Gretsch42, In 1Cor.6:16, where it says "he which is joined" is #2853, Kollao, from kolla, ("to glue") to stick, cleave, keep company. "to a harlot" #4204, porne, a strumpet, an idolater.Coming from #4205, pornos, to sell as akin as the base of #4097. to #4097,piprasko, a male prostitute ( as venal) a debauchee (libertine). "body" #4983, soma, the body as a sound whole, slave. "flesh" #4561, sarx, flesh, as stripped of skin, the meat of an animal (as food) body as opposed to soul and spirit. symbol of what is external, human nature with it's frailities (physically or morally) as passions, carnally minded, fleshly. There are other scriptures that are similar like Gen.2:24, Matt.19:5-6, Eph.5:31, Mark10:7-9. In Gen. 2:24, where it says "and shall cleave" it's #1692, dabaq, to impinge, cling, adhere, to catch by pursuit, follow close, overtake. "unto his wife" #802, ishshah, nashiym, a woman, adulteress, wife, woman. It comes from #582, enowsh, properly a mortal, differing from man. Bloodthirsty, chapman. "flesh" #1320 basar, flesh from it's freshness, body, person. In Mark19:5, "shall cleave" her is the same as 1Cor.6:16 #2853 where it says "which is joined". "wife" is #1135, gune, a woman, especially wife. "twain" #1417, duo, a primary numeral (two) both. "flesh" #4561, same as 1Cor.6:16. But in Mark19:6, where it says God it is #2316, theos, uncertain iffinity, a diety, the supreme diety, magistrate. "hath joined together" #4801, suzeugnumi, to yoke together, conjoin in marriage. "put asunder" #5563, chorizo, to place room between, to go away, depart, separate. From #5561, chora through the idea of empty expanse, a room, a space of territory. Eph.5:31, "shall be joined" #4347, proskallao, to glue to, to adhere, cleave. "wife" #1135 same as Matt.19:5, gune. "flesh" #4561, sarx, same as 1Cor.6:16, Matt.19:5. Mark10:7, "cleave" #4347, proskallao, same as Eph.5:31. "wife" #1135, gune, same as Eph.5:31,Matt.19:5. Mark10:9,"God" #2316, theos, same as Matt.19:6. So you see that there are similarities in these verses, but some slight differences like in 1Cor.6:16 it says which is joined, In Gen.2:24 it and shall cleave, Matt.19:5, says shall cleave, but the meanings are slightly different. Also in 1Cor.6:16 it says to a harlot, thus differing from Gen. and Matt. and Eph., and Mark. Harlot is #4205, pornos in the greek meaning to sell coming from #4097, a male prostitute, etc. and so on. As for the joining, and cleaving are slightly different in meaning. But most importantly in Gen.2:24, for flesh it says body as opposed from the soul and spirit. Symbol of what is external. It doesn't mean we are one as becoming one in soul and spirit. They remain separate and each one has his or her own sins, didn't God give us free will and that remains separate. We are to work out our own salvation, but when married it's a partnership. I hope I was helpful. In the Father's LOVE, Serenetime
132 | Man, woman take on sins of each other | 1 Cor 6:16 | serenetime | 27711
Gretsch42, The Holy Spirit showed me that I had not yet completed my answer. So here I am. Speaking of committing adultery. In Jer.3:8 "And I saw when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery. I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also". God divorces Israel, it says that he gave a bill of divorce. They were committing adultery with other lovers as it says in Jer.3:1 and in verse 1, God is saying "yet return unto Me, saith the Lord" But by what you said, God at this time would of had to take upon himself all the sins of Israel, and no where in the Bible does it convey this that sin has become a part of his nature. God would have to take on Israel's sin and it would become his sin now and Israel would take on sin of the Father and it would be their sin also. But,in the Father there is no sin. So your statement above "But because God turns his back on them as a result of their sin, they each take on all the sins of each other" To convey the confusion of your statement compared to the Epistle of Phillipians 2:1-18, The whole chapter conveys the idea about standing alone, but the verse that conveys best to me is verse 11,"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling". It also causes confusion to Rev.20:1-15,The whole chapter conveys standing alone. The verse that conveys best to me, where we should stand alone is Rev.20:11, "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them". Jesus many, many years later took upon all the sins of the world when on the cross. But Jesus did not take on sin nature of each individual. John3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him will not perish, but have everlasting life. Without spot or blemish. But in Hosea 14:whole chapter, God takes Israel back and in his mercy and love for his "wife" he forgives and speaks lovingly toward her in tenderness. Just as a married couple, if one commits adultery with another, can the one spouse forgive in love and mercy and they be joined together again. Just like if we sin, we feel distant from the Father. But in asking for forgiveness, he lovingly forgives in his tender mercy and Love for us his children. And God remembers the sin no more. The sin no longer exists. No sin is greater than the other. Sin is Sin. This is how we know that it is not a mortal sin to divorce and remarry again. The Father himself divorced and was he himself reunited with Israel. I hope this has helped you. In the LOVE of the Father, Serenetime
133 | Marriage/divorce (believer/unbeliever) | 1 Cor 7:13 | serenetime | 20019
First of all we would have to know why the unbelieving spouse wants the divorce. So many different circumstances. If their is abuse, physical/ or mental to the believer or unbeliever or to the children, then why would they want to stay married anyway? No one deserves this. Paul speaks specifically in 1 Cor. 7:12 that, But to the rest I speak, not the Lord. This is Paul speaking on his own account first of all. He specifies that it's his own opinion. Just because the unbelieving one states he/she wants a divorce but will not proceed. This spouse may be hoping that things will work out, but holds on hoping things will change. But how long can you go on? It sounds to me that the unbelieving spouse is hoping for a shred of hope for the marriage. But may be unrealistic. This is so vague. Very hard to answer. Should we try to work it out or shouldn't we? It sounds like the unbelieving spouse still has love for the believing spouse. But when things are not good, and I'm talking about physical and or mental abuse, and when one or both is not willing to get some help, no one should continue on unless a good christian counselor is available and both are willing. The word viable means in the Webster Encyclopedia, born alive sufficiently developed to live; capable of living and growth. we're talking about living and growth In 1 Cor.7:16, it states, For what knowest thou O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? If you continue to stay in the marriage even when there is abuse, and I speak only on abuse and unresolved differences, whatever it may be,unless there is an honest effort to resolve and rehabilitate on both parts , then it's already over. The Father wants us to be honest with ourselves and to each other. The Father wants us to be in Love, and to cherish one another. The Father is Love, and we as physical beings cannot fathom his Love, but we have a glimpse of it. Once this has all been attempted, and there's no resolve, then I feel it's time to move on. 134 | please explain uncomely Icorth7vs36 | 1 Cor 7:36 | serenetime | 44457
k peace, Hi! and I am so glad you are here. I love your question and just to give a another perspective regarding your question. I went back to the original Greek of the New Testament and this is what is really interesting is that in the Greek according the Strongs Exhaustive and Dictionary it renders the translation of the words "he behaveth himself uncomely" in verse 36 of 1cor. 7 as these words of the scripture as having the translation of- NT:807 aschemoneo (as-kay-mon-eh-o); from NT:809; to be (i.e. act) unbecoming: KJV - behaveself uncomely (unseemly). NT:809 askemon (as-kay-mone); from NT:1 (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivative of NT:2192 (in the sense of its congener NT:4976); properly, shapeless, i.e. (figuratively) inelegant: KJV - uncomely. NT:1 a (al fah); of Hebrew origin; the first letter of the alphabet; figuratively, only (from its use as a numeral) the first: KJV - Alpha. Often used (usually an, before a vowel) also in composition (as a contraction from NT:427) in the sense of privation; so, in many words, beginning with this letter; occasionally in the sense of union (as a contraction of NT:260). NT:427 aneu (an-yoo); a primary particle; without: KJV - without. Compare NT:1. from this we can get our own understanding, but we should always pray to the Father of Truth for Wisdom and understanding of His Truth. I hope I have helped also. SERENETIME |

135 | does God ever say no | 2 Cor 12:7 | serenetime | 39194
Cody, In 2 Cor 12:7-9 it says, 7) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8) For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. KJV In verse 7) he was given a thorn in his side because of the abundance of revelations that were shown to him, so he would not exalt himself to highly than he should. Also that he should be buffeted by satan to keep him humble. In verse 9, the word grace in the original Greek means, NT:5485 charis (khar-ece); from NT:5463; graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude): KJV - acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace (-ious), joy, liberality, pleasure, thank (-s, -worthy). NT:5463 chairo (khah-ee-ro); a primary verb; to be "cheerful", i.e. calmly happy or well-off; impersonally, especially as salutation (on meeting or parting), be well: KJV - farewell, be glad, God speed, greeting, hall, joy (-fully), rejoice. And the word grace in all the NT has the same meaning except in (James 1:11) which is #2143 in the Greek. The word sufficient in the original Greek is NT:714 arkeo (ar-keh-o); apparently a primary verb (but probably akin to NT:142 through the idea of raising a barrier); properly, to ward off, i.e. (by implication) to avail (figuratively, be satisfactory): KJV - be content, be enough, suffice, be sufficient. NT:142 airo (ah-ee-ro); a primary root; to lift up; by implication, to take up or away; figuratively, to raise (the voice), keep in suspense (the mind), specially, to sail away (i.e. weigh anchor); by Hebraism (compare OT:5375) to expiate sin: KJV - away with, bear (up), carry, lift up, loose, make to doubt, put away, remove, take (away, up). OT:5375 nasa (naw-saw); or nacah (Ps 4:6 [OT:7]) (naw-saw); a primitive root; to lift, in a great variety of applications, literal and figurative, absol. and rel. (as follows): KJV - accept, advance, arise, (able to, (armor), suffer to) bear (-er, up), bring (forth), burn, carry (away), cast, contain, desire, ease, exact, exalt (self), extol, fetch, forgive, furnish, further, give, go on, help, high, hold up, honorable (man), lade, lay, lift (self) up, lofty, marry, magnify, X needs, obtain, pardon, raise (up), receive, regard, respect, set (up), spare, stir up, swear, take (away, up), X utterly, wear, yield. OT:7 abad (Aramaic) (ab-ad); corresponding to OT:6: KJV - destroy, perish. OT:6 abad (aw-bad); a primitive root; properly, to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative, destroy): KJV - break, destroy (-uction), not escape, fail, lose, (cause to, make) perish, spend, X and surely, take, be undone, X utterly, be void of, have no way to flee. In it being sufficient, I see that it's to be satisfied, to raise up a barrier (of protection) (in trusting God The Father in all things) To be content (in what he gives us). Having full reliance on HIM in order to humble us. Be enough (we have ALL of what we need) and in #142 it says to expiate sin. The word expiate in the New World Dictionary: To make satisfaction or atonement, to appease, to make amends or reparation for wrongdoing or guilt, to atone for. Also it says, to pay the penalty of; to suffer for. This is where Iesous (Jesus) comes in where he paid the penalty, and suffered for us that we may be forgiven for our shortcomings in this age. So you see we are to content, that we don't exalt ourselves any higher that we need to, and to keep full reliance on the Father and and trusting him. To keep ourselves humble before him. I hope I've helped. In the Love of the Living Water of My Father, SERENETIME |

136 | MASTURBATORY PROCLAMATION | 2 Cor 12:20 | serenetime | 47683

137 | Measure of maturity | Eph 4:13 | serenetime | 52422
Tefo, I believe that maturity is a finality. We are constantly learning and this finality will not be until the Messiah comes and teaches us all things. I know it says in scripture that the holy spirit teaches us all things, but I truly know that we are continuously learning until we will know all things which is when we see him face to face and we take off corruption and put on incorruption. John 4:25 25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. KJV Do you agree? SERENETIME |

138 | Forget and reach for what? | Phil 3:13 | serenetime | 28288
Mommapbs, It would be best to read the whole chapter to understand what is being said here. Obviously Paul is saying is that what is past is but dung verse 8, but what he is saying that in the flesh and the things he used to do in the law is but dung, that through the excellency of through Jesus Christ he counts all what is before is worthless, so forgetting what lies behind and looking forward to what lies ahead. Like when we are saved, all past is washed away, behold all things are new. we have a new start. I hope this helps. Don't linger on your past, you are now a new creature. Serenetime
139 | is naked picture of your spouse wrong | Phil 4:8 | serenetime | 21321
Hi Raychel, I really don't think that it's wrong. The fact that it's a picture of the spouse, what's the problem? The fact is ,is that if the spouse was there, then they would see each other naked everyday! In Gen. 2:23 it says, therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one. The fact they are only looking a naked picture of the spouse, and not another person, then it's ok! In the Father's Love, Serenetime
140 | wandering why the forth commandment is | Col 2:16 | serenetime | 31247
The ten commandements are not the same as statutes and ordinances. Statutes and Ordinances are man made and the Ten Commandments are God given. Jesus says that he didn't come to destroy the law (commandments) but to fulfil, Matt.5:17-19. He never said to do away with the commandments.Oh by the way, why wouldn't we need a rest!
