101 | Jesus went to Hell before Resurrection? | Matt 12:40 | glory777 | 32463
Barry- Good thought! I had never thought of it that way. Wuld there also be some tie you can see with the Egyptian darkness and when scripture talks about the darkness God will send in Revelation? Debbie |

102 | Discussion Question | Matt 19:24 | glory777 | 61488
Mj- Didn't Jesus ride on the donkey because that was a sign of kingship? Debbie |

103 | will the world end soon | Matt 25:13 | glory777 | 17158
Dalprad- Yes, there are certain things in scripture that set off some heated discussion, but it all doesn't matter. These are things that do not affect one's salvation. I myself believe in the pre-trib (the scriptures have been used again and again to justify it, just as mid trib has scripture to justify it) but I do know what will happen in the future, and if I see it coming about, it does not matter where I stand, I will know what is happening and know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I also know that the majority of those who write in to the forum are born again and will have an eternity to say either "you are right" or "you are wrong" and not mind at all because we will be glorifying the Lord together and even now know that we are brothers and sisters in the Lord. So even though there is some "heat" know that there is love with it, but our humanness gets in the way sometimes. God be with you. Debbie |

104 | Judas hanged and later the body fell | Matt 27:5 | glory777 | 17716
Gary- The body would not even have had to hang there long. If there were rocks or other sharp objects like a sharp, strong tree branch, the same could have happened. We just have to take the verious aspects of the puzzle and put them together to find reconciliation. Debbie |

105 | Which disciples were married | Mark 1:30 | glory777 | 111862
Searcher- I think I read somewhere that in order to be a member of the ruling group of Jews at the time, one had to be married. Paul would have had to have been. I don't remember where I got this information. Perhaps you have more input? glory777 |

106 | Please help me to find this out for this | Luke 1:27 | glory777 | 23580
I would go with the idea that Jesus had half brothers. In Matthew 12, where His mother and brothers are anting to so Him and He says "Who is My mother and who is My brother?" - seeing as He meant His real mother I would think He was talking about His real brothers (or I should say half brothers). Just relatives or close friends would not have meaning in this portion of scripture. He was talking about His real family compared to His real earthly family. Do I make sense? Blessings- Debbie |

Matthew 6:9 | ||||||
108 | how were the sisters | Luke 10:42 | glory777 | 72124
prayon - Excuse me if I digress a little. But I find so much that is applicable to our lives here and now. Yes, Jesus should come above everything and have first priority. But I also think of the people who are important in our lives. When we have company, are we so busy preparing and cooking that we don't have the time and energy to really involve ourselves with them? Or how about our children? I am afraid when mine were little, I had to have a clean house and I find that now, with my grandson I have my priorities more in the right places. I would rather have time with him - even though I have "designer furniture" (fingerprints in the dust!) rather than an immaculate house. Too many of us are caught up in the "Martha syndrome" and don't realize it until it is too late. I wonder if Martha ever did sit down next to her sister and decided that, just for once, sandwiches were good enough? Debbie |

109 | Joe, | Luke 23:43 | glory777 | 64353
Seeing as we are getting into a lotof conjecture here, may I add something? Isn't it possible He went to the "Hot, dry side" to show them, and all of those who try to turn hearts against God, that He conquered? Jesus won! Satan and his minions have no more power! I think instead of rubbing it in to those there, His presence would show them how wrong they were and how deserving they are of being where they are. At the great White Throne Judgement, everyone will see the Lord, also. I think those who have turned away from the Lord in this life will not really want to be seeing Him then, or ever, so it is His mercy and their choice, to be removed from His presence. As I said, I am just imagining, too, and wandering where wise men fear to tread - no comments about that last statement, PLEASE! Debbie |

110 | did judas eat at the last supper? | John | glory777 | 13397
Sam- What still blows my mind is the fact that, even knowing the Judas would betray Him, He still washed his feet along with the rest of the 12. Even after that, Judas turned on Him. Could we wash the feet of our enemies? What an example He gives us. Debbie |

111 | did judas eat at the last supper? | John | glory777 | 76438
On a personal level, yes I can, if there was any chance that Saddam would receive the gospel. Would I, knowing that, given the chance, he would kill me and my family because we believe in Christ? I think I would tie his feet, wash his feet, preach the Word and then.....I know I sure wouldn't let him escape to torture and kill millions more if given the opportunity. My opinion only..... 112 | and the word was God | John 1:14 | glory777 | 10849
Norrie- I had a hard time understanding the Trinity, too, and heard the water explanation. Another example would be area. Area consists of height, width and depth. Each individual measurements, yet all part of the same. Debbie |

113 | Created for heaven or hell? | John 3:16 | glory777 | 11308
Proorizo- This is one of those questions that is irrelevent. Our job is not to pick straws. We are to take the gospel to the world, God knows who will receive it and who won't. We don't know, so it is not up to us to worry about it. There are other issues that can divide a fellowship but none that can destroy the fact that salvation is through Jesus Christ, unless one has a contentious purpose in mind. I disagree with some of my brothers and sisters in my own denomination over a few things, and also in other denominations, but the main thing, is that the blood of Jesus unites us as brothers and sisters. It is alright to disagree, and then let it go. If both viewpoints have been aired, let it go. Debbie |

115 | Is the Word-Faith movement biblical ? | John 10:27 | glory777 | 7883
I am not in the Word of Faith movement (at least I don't think so) but God did speak all creation into existance. I do know that if you tell a child long enough, and sometimes it doesn't take too many times, that he is no good, he will often fulfill your words. God said to speak blessings, not cursings. So in this regard, I do believe that words have power. God also gave us common sense and I believe we should use it. If we need healing, He is the One we should turn to first, prayer being a first option. Then follow up with the resources He has supplied us. But faith IS important. Why else would Jesus have put such an emphasis on relying on our Heavenly Father? So many things He said - "faith of a mustard seed...ask and it shall be given...The neighbor who kept knocking," etc. I have heard that God answers three ways - no, yes and wait.
116 | Is the Word-Faith movement biblical ? | John 10:27 | glory777 | 7956
Oh, Tim, I am so sorry for your loss! And I know that that is a lie from Hell that was related to you and your wife. God does give us the strength and even in the times of grieving He gives us peace but you are right, that only comes through faith.
117 | Father | John 10:29 | glory777 | 11132
Isa- I have read a very good book that you might enjoy reading. The title of it is More than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell. I think it will help you in your search. Debbie |

119 | Father | John 10:29 | glory777 | 11169
I am so sorry. But I think it would be available in bookstores. It is a small book, so it shouldn't be too costly. Debbie |

120 | DID JUDAS EAT , DRINK THE LAST SUPPER | John 13:30 | glory777 | 47108
Searcher gave you a good lead to follow. As you read scripture, What really struck me, was that not only was he allowed to partake of the Passover with the Lord Jesus, but Jesus, knowing what he would do, also washed Judas' feet. What an example for us. Debbie |
