1 | Is it Scriptural to avoid offending? | Gal 5:11 | tj57h@cs.com | 89141
Ga 5:11 - Show Context And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased. 1Pe 2:8 - Show Context And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. I believe the preaching of the cross of Christ is an offence; however, I do not believe we should intentionally offend. People will be offended though. Love, Tim |

2 | A Private Hot Line to God? | Ps 119:105 | tj57h@cs.com | 89050
Radioman2, If we do not hear form God on a regular basis, then How do we walk in the Spirit? If we do not walk in the Spirit, we must be practicing dead works handed down from the traditions of man or by the letter, which kills, it is the spirit that gives life. Anyone Born again, by Spiritual revelation can understand the Mystery. Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 1 Corinthians 2: 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 1 Cor 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of UNBELIEF. Love, Tim P. S. God spoke to Jesus, Paul, Peter, John, Phillip, Mary, John the Baptist, and Joseph, to name a few. |

3 | Have these verses been fullfilled? | Acts 2:17 | tj57h@cs.com | 89048
James 5:6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. De 11:14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. Form these scriptures I believe their will be a latter rain. I believe that there is latter rain (Revival) right before the farmers harvest; I based this though from the scriptures we have in the bible. Unless you believe we are already in it, I see no evidence that it has already occurred and therefore would conclude it is yet to come right before his return. I hoe this has been of help, Love, Tim H. |

4 | What is "Moral Law"? | Gal 2:20 | tj57h@cs.com | 88911
We are learning to live and move and have our being in Christ by a new and living way written on our hearts not in an outward written code. As we do this we should be falling in line with the 10 commandments, but we do not walk by these outward rules or any other regulation. As we learn Christ and how to walk in the Spirit we become more obedient through the empowerment of his spirit. See Romans 4-8,and Gal 2:20 Romans 4 we are righteous because of faith in the blood shed by Jesus for our sins and the penalty of the law has been removed. (Eternal damnation for not obeying the 10 commandments) No outward code or LAW can do that. I hope this helps! Love, Tim Hines |

Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Ephesians 3:1-13 1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. 7 | Studying Praise/Worship | 2 Chr 29:28 | tj57h@cs.com | 88572
God's eye view by Tommy Tenney God gave it to me to confirm a revelation. and Power in Praise by Merlin R. Carothers another great book on the power of praise. Psalms 8:1-2 1 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. Mt 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? Paul and Silas: Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. During praise and worship you are "LOVING GOD WITH ALL YOU HEART SOUL MIND AND MIGHT!" If you are depressed praising God at the top of your lungs will bring you out from under the grip of depression. Praise God! Love, Tim Hines |

8 | What is imputed righteousness? | Rom 4:6 | tj57h@cs.com | 88568
If you truly believe in your heart the blood sacrifice cleanses you from all sin and the penalty of the law (Eternal damnation) and have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus, you are saved born again and in right standing with God, apart from works. Most religions of the day will tell you need good works to stay in right standing with God and this scripture says by faith you are in right standing with God. If you get the revelation of this scripture you will have a glorious freedom in Christ, if not you will be always under condemnation of not doing enough GOOD works. WE ARE FREE OF ALL CONDEMNATION!!! WALK IN THE GRACE AND LIBERTY OF JESUS CHRIST IT IS A FREE GIFT. IF YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE RIGHTIOUS AND ARE TRULY BLESSED! Love, Tim Hines |

9 | Was the serpent being worshipped? | Num 21:8 | tj57h@cs.com | 88562
I believe the BRAZEN serpent was a type of Christ. Somehow it was like the opposite. Try to receive the light from these scriptures below: John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: Numbers 21:4 And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged F51 because of the way. 5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. As we lift up Jesus Christ from the earth, people look at him and are healed. People of this world including believers are looking at their problems and thereby being devoured and killed by snakes (problems of this world), if they will look to Jesus high and lifted up they will be healed. Look to Jesus not the problems of this world. (Poisonous snakes) Love, Tim Hines |

10 | Is lifting His name related to this vs? | John 12:32 | tj57h@cs.com | 88557

11 | Every single person? | John 12:32 | tj57h@cs.com | 88556
Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. As we lift up Jesus Christ on this earth all those around us and ourselves are drawn unto him. To be raised to life one must hear the Gospel, be born again, and that requires belief in the heart and confession with the mouth the Lord Jesus. Rom 10: 8- 10. THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL VERSE IN EVANGELISM AND ENCORAGEMENT IN THE BIBLE IN MY OPINION; WE NEED TO SPEND MORE TIME LIFTING UP JESUS AND HIS NAME! Love, Tim Hines |

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. HEARING THE GOSPEL, the faith comes from the Spirit and desire is felt in the heart, belief is conceived and confession is made. Then one is born again. Rom 10: 8-10. Love, Tim Hines |

13 | Is it ok to stay clear of someone? | 1 Cor 5:11 | tj57h@cs.com | 88543
Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. You have to love and forgive. It says nowhere we have to be around someone. Unless the Spirit leads you to! If the brother is in un-confessed sin you should stay away from him. 1Co 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. I have a sister that I do not particularly care to be around and I have to deal with this issue on a regular basis, I lean on the Spirit on what I should do from time to time. (Pray about it.) I hope this helps, Love, Tim |

14 | When does newness of life start? | Rom 6:4 | tj57h@cs.com | 88528
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. #1. You must hear the gospel and faith comes by the Spirit. Romans 10: 8 thru 10.:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. #2. You believe in the heart that Jesus is the Son of God and was crucified (His blood was shed to pay the price for your Sin) and in three days was resurrected from the dead and is a live forever more. Confess with you moth the Lord Jesus and you are saved. (Born again) This is when new life starts! And you old life died with Christ! Rom 6: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed F21 from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments F22 of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. You learn to walk in the Spirit by living and moving and having your being in Christ, because your life IS Christ! Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. I hope I answered your question, I will be happy to answer any more you might have, Love, Tim |

15 | re-marraige yes or no | 1 Cor 7:15 | tj57h@cs.com | 88523
Touchy subject! Technically the bible says any man who marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery Matt 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. In RED letters no less! I KNOW THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR! I did the same, married a woman that was married before, we are both born again and leaders in our Church. Those who preach LAW and works based theology; say that we are living in adultery and are going to hell. I actually had one of these professing Christians ask me if I was still with that woman! I said YES, and he said I was living in adultery, and I was going to go to Hell unless I got divorced from her. He said that my wife would have to return to her former husband, and I guess that means I was just left out in the cold, and was in a catch 22 an could never be married again. This caused much distress in our life for a short time; let me share how I came to have peace about this dilemma. #1. God is love, is there any love in me divorcing my kids mother? Does God want to destroy this family? NO, that would be Satan’s job. #2. When Jesus met the woman at the well: Matt 5: 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. 19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. She had 5 husbands, which one did Jesus tell her to return to? He did not tell her to return to any of them. She was not condemned, no basis for the divorces, no condemnation and I believe it is clear she became a believer and we shall see her in heaven. I imagine the guy I was speaking to earlier would say she should return to the first one she married. 1 Cor 7:27 Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art THOU LOOSED FROM A WIFE? seek not a wife. 28 BUT IF THOU MARRY, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. Paul says here you shoud not seek a wife, but if you marry after being loosed, thou has not sined, BUT….. SUCH SHALL HAVE TROUBLE IN THE FLESH. I AM NOT SURE IF Paul is saying anyone who marries will have trouble in the flesh, but I know divorce causes trouble in the flesh, step kids, step parents, finances, X spouses and other problems galore, etc….. BY NO MEANS AM I SAYING TO ANYONE READING THIS “GO AHEAD AND GET A DIVORCE” I AM JUST QUOTING THE WORD TO COMFORT THIS BROTHER. IT CLEARLY IS BEST NOT TO GET A DIVORCE, BUT MANY PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY ALREADY HAVE AND MANY HAVE REMARRIED, AND I DO NOT BELIEVE GOD IS SENDING US TO HELL, THE SPIRIT OF GOD BEARS TESTOMONY THAT I AN A SON OF GOD AND I HAVE THE FRUITS AND GIFTS TO PROVE IT. I am at peace with it; I am called by God to minister the word of God through writing and speaking. My wife is a faithful child of God with great faith who I admire and love. We will meet you in heaven my brother! Love, Tim |

19 | OSAS? | Gal 5:4 | tj57h@cs.com | 88374
I am only concerned with the attitude that this doctrine is presented with. Sometimes is is with an arogance that I can do what I want and get away with it. This is not true we have the liberty to sin, but it always has consequences, our Father will hold us accountable. Those who do not believe you are saved and kept saved by faith, by default believe that it is by their works they are saved, and this is a works doctrine and those who practice salvation by works are "fallen from grace" (Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (Works based religon); ye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith) not menaning lost if they are born again, but they are short circuiting the grace of God that wants to flow through them.
