Hello Cheri, Thanks for the response, but sorry not what I am looking for. I am so sure I read the verse, even stopping to ponder on it. If you think of 1 Cor 13 it makes perfect sense to not "take up an offense that is not yours." I think I saw the verse when I was researching for my book. It may be in the Psalms or Proverbs. I tried my exhaustive concordance without result. If you stop to think about it when you hear of or experience a friend or loved one being offended most ofton we know only one side of the story. Ofton throughout my life time I have taken up someone elses offense (becoming irritated or down right mad at them) only to find out I did not know the whole story and it was at the very least a complete "one sided version by the offendee) Well, anyone else willing to help or suggest, let me know.
