1 | Take up another's offense or not? | Bible general Archive 4 | Val | 206158
While I agree one should get both sides of the story; the bible does talk about justice for children and widows, the poor, those people who need help. Each case should be looked at in its context and then search scripture for appropriate application. There is a verse about strife. Sometimes if not most times its best to stay out of arugments that are not really that important. Prov 26:17 Like one who takes a dog by the ears Is he who passes by and meddles with strife not belonging to him. I heard someone say sometime, we should chose our battles carefully. Blessings, Val |

Thank you Val, However, I still am quite certain that I had read a specific verse that said, "Do not take up an offense that occured to someone else." Was hoping that someone out there recalls that verse and/or knows where it is. Again, thanks InGodITrust |

Your welcome. You may have or someone may have already told you to enter the word in the Search word feature to the right of the screen and go through the verses to see what you find. Use any words you think may apply to the topic you are looking for such as: offense, occurred, etc. Happy hunting. Blessings, Val
