Dear Muzka, You are not wrong to ask this question. And you are not alone in wondering why a loving God would torture His own creations for eternal eons, in reprisal for a relatively short life of sin. Logically speaking, how could a God of Ultimate Love do such a thing? I for one don’t believe He will. I’m not trying to help you “shop” for a new belief. I’m just letting you know that you’re not alone. If you are interested, here is a web site that helps explain why I believe this. http://www.amazingfacts.org/items/free_library.asp Under the “select a topic” field you’ll have to select “Hell” I realize that my belief on this issue is in the vast minority. I do however believe that it is biblical. Ocelot Malachi 4:3 "You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing," says the LORD of hosts. |

Hello Ocelot, I think Muzka would be much better served by reading Jonathan Edwards, "The Justice of God in the Damnation of Sinners" and/or George Whitefield's "The Eternity of Hell-Torments". They both shed sound, time-tested exposition of this topic. I'd also encourage yu to read them as well, if you haven't. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
