1 | god shouldn't send people to hell. | Bible general Archive 3 | Muzka | 171627
I know that there is a hell and why it exist, however I also know that a good over 80 percent of the entire pop. of the world would agree that torture is wrong. I wouldn't wish hell on anyone in this world. It is the ultimate torture that one can ever experience. I honestly want to argue with God over the issue. Actually I plan to when die. I just don't feel that sending people to hell for whatever reason gets them there is just too much of a punishment. Is it wrong for me to feel that way?

Greetings Muzka! I hope this doesn't sound rude my friend, but you can argue with God all you want, but He didn't ask for a vote - so your vote doesn't count. :-) There are so many points that need addressed in your post my friend, but just allow me to briefly touch upon a few. 1) God's Sovereignty: Scripture is clear that God is sovereign and can do what He wants. He doesn't need to justify anything to us. 2) God's love: God demonstrate His love and His justice by sending Christ to die for our sins. 3) Man's choice: If anyone goes to hell, it is because they choose to reject the free gift of God's grace. Why then can they complain if they end up in hell? 4) The seriousness of sin: Hell is a just punishment for our sin. When and if you get to Heaven, you will understand how serious sin is and all of your objections will disappear from your lips. :-) p.s. - Welcome to the forum. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

My dear brother and friend, Tim, good point ... our vote doesn't count. God runs a theocracy government. Plus, your other points are sound.
