1 | Are we supposed to observe the Sabbath? | Bible general Archive 2 | Morant61 | 103457
Greetings Searcher! I join with Hank my friend in asking what exactly the difference between you and Khuck is actually over. I have tried to follow the thread, but frankly, I am at a loss as to what this thread is all about. The only point I have seen is a difference of opinion over whether the passive voice means that God initiated Sunday worship or not. Is this another gospel? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

That is true ... the difference of opinion over whether the passive voice means that God initiated Sunday worship or not. I proved passive voice doesn't indicated it is God initiated. Kathy should have verified what she was quoting is Biblical.

Greetings Searcher! I already responded to your other post, but allow me to summarize again. The passive voice in Acts 20:7 may or may not mean that it was by divine initiative. There isn't any indication in the text either way. So, it would be a stretch to use it as a proof. But, it is also a stretch to say that it couldn't have been divinely initiated. The text simply doesn't specify either way. My concern is that both sides seem to have engaged in quite a bit of heat over a very minor point. :-( Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
