Since childhood the Bible Alone (Sola Scriptura) is our source for truth. Even this belief I can't find it in the bible, it only says "profitable" which is good but it does not says sufficient or enough (again would this be tradition that was made-up by Luther?) Instead I found this verse John 21:25 not everything were written. This kind of bother me when we can give excuses to our traditions that came from our elders (men) but WE CANNOT SEE other's traditions like the Catholics who believed they follow the traditions of the 12 apostles which were handed personally by Jesus himself. 2 Thessalonians 2:15 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” "WORD” preached and "EPISTLE” written 2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit Thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also...” ALSO READ THESE VERSES: 2 Timothy 2:2, 1 Corinthians 11:2, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 John 1:12, 3 John 1:13-14 and Acts 2:42 As a Bible Alone believing Christians please support your answers with scriptures only. NO EXCUSES NO EXEMPTIONS…. otherwise you sound TOO CATHOLIC GOD BLESS |

(Jude 1:5 NASB) Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. (Luke 1:1-4 NASB) Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, 2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word have handed them down to us, it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus; 4 so that you might know the exact truth about the things you have been taught. (John 20:31 NASB) but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. Jude said we know all things once and for all. Luke said he compiled an account so we woul know the exact truth. John said what was written is so you may believe that Jesus is the Christ. What else could we possibly add and how would we validate that? |

(Luke 1:1-4 NASB) Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, 2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word have handed them down to us, HANDED DOWN meaning Traditions it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order REF: Old Testament also READ John 21:25 , most excellent Theophilus; 4 so that you might know the exact truth about the things you have been taught. VERSES FOR ORAL TRADITIONS 2 Thessalonians 2:15 – 2, John 1:12, 3 John 1:13-14 John 20:31 NASB) but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. AMEN THIS VERSE DOES NOT CONTRADICT THE APOSTLES TRADITIONS Jude said we know all things once and for all. HE IS REFERRING: to the Old Testament not the NT since they are not finished yet. READ John 21:25 Luke said he compiled an account so we would know the exact truth. HE DID NOT SAY FULL OR 100 percent TRUTH and how could he know the full truth the New Testament are still being written, again Luke is referring to the OT which is already done in scrolls There were NO BIBLE at the time of the Apostles, majority of the people at that time cannot read nor write the reason for Jesus commanded his apostles to preach (not to write) Matthew 28:19-20 READ "Where We Got The Bible" VERSES FOR: Scriptures and Apostles Traditions 2 Thessalonians 2:15 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” "WORD” preached and "EPISTLE” written 2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit Thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also...” ALSO READ THESE VERSES: 2 Timothy 2:2, 1 Corinthians 11:2, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 John 1:12, 3 John 1:13-14 and Acts 2:42 |

The canon(measuring rod) of Scripture was determined long before Luther's day and long after a lot of NON-INCLUDED writings. Scripture is the measuring rod. Not the non included traditions. |
