Tim: Excellent answer! Discussing what the Bible says about ISSUES is one thing. But discussing PERSONALITIES (persons of importance, prominence, renown, or notoriety) and PARTISAN POLITICS is quite another. This is NOT the "Election 2004" forum. It is the studyBIBLEforum. Grace and peace to you, Glory Bound, tlewis and all! Kalos |

Kalos and Tim, You both offer some good advice on this matter. For my 2 cents worth, Politics is very personal and therefore usually carries with it some strong emotional ties! Emotions can very quickly run a discussion off-track, so we must be careful. I agree that what the Bible says about ISSUES is within the realm of acceptability, but PERSONALITIES and PARTIES should be kept to a bare minimum- if at all! I think , again, a review of the Terms of Use and Posting Guidelines as Hank mentioned would be a good starting place for all- especially those new to this Forum:-) Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
