Hi, We cannot make it to heaven by keeping the the Law, because the Law is spiritual and we are carnal (physical). (Romans 7:14). Once we recieve the Holy Spirit we can begin to follow the Law, we will fall occasionnally,like a young child who is learning to walk, but by the grace of God, we get up and continue on the path that Christ has revealed to us. (Romans 7:25,Romans 8:4), (Gal 5:16) | ||||||

If we can mix law and grace, why does Paul tell us in Galatians 5:4 that "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace." This tells me that: Christ has set us free from the law's requirements by fulfilling them in Himself. Neither circumcision nor any other requirement of the law is beneficial to Christians. Faith in Christ is what counts. |

Paul is telling us that having faith in Christ does not give you a license to sin. If you have faith then you will obey his word, se John 13:34. Obeying the Word of Christ will prevent you from sinning. | ||||||
