1 | Who is going into the millenium? | Bible general Archive 1 | gmsmith101 | 4354
I think that those who reign during the 1,000 years (Rev. 20:4) here on earth are the saints that returned with Christ in Rev. 19:14, which were called the "armies of heaven" in this passage.

How could that be? Aren't all of those saints going to have immortal bodies? Why would they rebel at the end of the thousand years? Also IF Isaiah chapter 65 is talking about the Millennium, and I think it is, it mentions death. I believe the Saint you are referring to will be here ruling and reigning with Christ. I'm asking who will they rule and reign over?

I agree in part with GMSmith. This is the way I understand it. 2Corin 15:53 says that when we are raised in the rapture the perishable body will be made imperishable and this mortal body must put on immorality. Rev 20:5 says that the dead raised up from the tribulation will be judged. When Christ comes in the rapture (1st resurection) believers will be raised up and made immortal. Any 00 one who becomes a believer AFTER the rapture will go to heaven but will NOT become immortal. They will remain in their mortal bodies. Since the tribulation believers still have their physical bodies they will still have their sinful natures, so they and their children can choose to rebel against God. Rev 19:9 says "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast". Remember all those who were raised in the rapture, both old and new testament saints are the bride of Christ so we can't be the guests; it must be the tribulation believers. The wedding guests will join the bride and groom in fellowship with one another for the next 1000 years. Hope this helps Ed. prayon |

4 | Do you mean some people will live twice? | Bible general Archive 1 | EdB | 4512
Are you saying the tribulation saints are going to live twice? I think the scenario you suggest is that people would become believers during the tribulation, be killed for their belief and go to heaven but then they will return with Christ to live and die during the Millennium. I don't think so, if we look at Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,". While I know Hebrews 9:27 was written to cast down the belief in reincarnation I think it is still very applicable to this situation. |

in Rev 7:13-15 They came out of Great tribulation but i don't know that they will come back to earth. I feel that it will be the Raptured Saints that will rule and reign with Christ on earth. A very good study
