Dear Awitnesstohiswork, First, get yourself a good study Bible in simple easy to read English translation, that has lots of comments and archaeological notes. They give you lots of information about the times and settings of the particular writings you are reading and it helps you to understand the context. I recommend you read the Gospel of John first, then probably the other Gospels for starters. It would be good if you could get yourself into a good Bible Study. If I were you I would just ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten me before each study you do, and He will guide you along. Itiswritten |
