"Nothing else comes close"? Four hundred and thirty (430) verses in the OT of the KJV contain the phrase: "Thus saith the Lord" But "nothing else comes close"? Believe it or not, that which was spoken by the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is every bit as inspired and powerful as what was spoken by Jesus. |

Goodmorning my brother. I've been following this thread almost from the beginning and there seems to be some confusion or intractability on the part of the originator. I will be perfectly clear from the get go here, this is not intended as an attack on anyone. I have a few scriptures that I pray will add some clarity to the situation. 2 Timothy 3:15,16 All scripture is God breathed, all scripture is profitable(Quote). From Gen 1:1 to Rev 22:21 It's all God breathed it's all profitable. Ro 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, that through perserverance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. "nothing else comes close" interesting but not beneficial. To elevate one part of the Word and discount another is a disservice to God and we endanger ourselves. 2 Pt 1:20 let Gods Word speak for itself. It works. I pray that this is of benifit to anyone struggling with this situation. Always your brother lionheart |
