2 | Forgiven for spending to much? | 1 John 1:9 | Robert Nicholson | 27934 | ||
Dear fellow believer: After we are saved we have a conscience which is more sensitive toward sin. The important thing is to grasp the truth of 1 John 1:9 where we see that he forgives ALL our sins. Choices that we made before we were saved can haunt us afterward even though we are forgiven. There may be things which we need to make right in order to be peace within ourselves. Brother, I can say I know how you feel as I gone through bankruptcy due to a business failure which I tryed to correct, but it went totally out of control. What does a Christian do in this case? Take this problem to God and tell him honestly about you problem. The important thing is to totally honest about your situation to all involved persons. Make sure you hire a good bankruptcy person to represent you fairly. Remember, the one who sees the sparrow fall, cares so much more for you. You are going through a time of testing which the Lord promises his grace to help us through. In my own case it was a learning experience which brought me closer to God and has caused me to value the things which are important in life. May you feel the presence of God as you face this difficulty. If I can help you more, please email me. In Christ Robert |
