1 | Rapture question? | 1 Thess 4:17 | LookingforTruth | 23391
This is one question that I was asked regarding the Rapture that I could not answer. If I am in a single motor airplane and there is only one pilot and there are 18 people on board who don't know how to fly and the rapture takes place while we are in midflight and the pilot is raptured and everyone else is left behind does this mean everyone on board will die in a crash? Who will fly the plane? Help! How do I answer this? |

3 | Rapture question? | 1 Thess 4:17 | LookingforTruth | 23397
Hi Searcher, Thanks for answering! So do you believe God will kill the people on the plane and allow them to die lost? What if ten of the people on the plane were God fearing Christians? I know this wasn't a part of my original question but I am thinking of a response I would receive. I have always thought God not to be evil and killing people in a plane crash because the pilot is raptured to me is evil. Maybe I'm wrong? What do you think? |

4 | Rapture question? | 1 Thess 4:17 | Searcher56 | 23419
Scripture ... Gen 18:16-19:29, Luke 13:1-5 ... God allows things to happen. In S/G, He would of relented for 10. For the plane, God could have it land so no one would get hurt. God is not being evil. At S/G, there were children ... at the tower in Siloam 18 died ... but, it was not God being evil. One more ... when Job's children were killed, God was not being evil. In this case he let Satan act. We never know when God is going to require our soul. Searcher |
